Il Pellicano has been a regular stop when I visit my sister in Umbria since 1998. When I was younger, I'd stop in for sandwiches and a beer; now I use it to pick up a delicious takeout pizza. The dough is well-made, well-risen (so much so that you won't wake up thirsty the next day), and the wide selection of flavors is worth trying. Recommended for anyone passing through the San Faticchio area and surrounding towns.

We had dinner at Pellicano and, in addition to the generous portions, we were served by very friendly staff. The burgers and pizzas were excellent. Prices were average. I recommend it!

Always a pleasure to return. Last night, after ordering my pizza, I heard (from the next table's order) that they had lactose-free mozzarella. I asked if I still had time to change my order, but even though my pizza was already in the oven, they still said they'd remake it for me without a problem. What can I say... a remarkable touch. And of course, the pizza was excellent... and the crema catalana, too.

A wonderful pub/brewery, I think it's a must for anyone visiting the area. Excellent selection of beers, delicious quality cold cuts, after all, we're in Umbria, the home of pork butchering.

Abbiamo cenato lì una sera. Hamburger di qualità e pizza buona. Pagato nella media.Camerieri gentili. Pur consigliando la prenotazione abbiamo cenato tranquillamente anche senza (il posto ha parecchi coperti).

Norcineria Massatani 1913

15/08/2025: While visiting the center of Foligno at lunchtime, we stopped at this norcineria. When we asked to sample some of the typical Umbrian specialties, the owner patiently served us a generous appetizer with cheeses and a wide variety of traditional cured meats. All accompanied by torta al testo and an excellent glass of Montefalco red wine. The staff were truly friendly.
15/08/2025: We had a wonderful aperitivo on a pouring summer day, accompanied by immense human warmth. The excellent food, made with top-quality ingredients, is certainly worth mentioning, but above all, we will cherish the excellent service and kindness of the owner and his entire staff. Since it was pouring outside (including hail), and we were carrying our three-month-old daughter in a stroller and without an umbrella, the owner even offered to drive us to get it. We didn't accept the ride, but this small gesture of thoughtfulness will remain as memorable as his products.

19/08/2025: It's the place to be in town and beyond. Life pulsates here in the Italian way. Food, drinks, people interacting, and speaking many languages. Top! It was a wonderful experience for us to be our guest. Keep up the good work!
11/08/2025: Very tasty pizza. We always ordered at least 20 pizzas, and they were fresh, delicious, and all topped with the right toppings. Super tasty Italian pizza.
