In the past, I often stopped by for a quick lunch and was always satisfied with everything. Then, for a variety of reasons, I no longer found myself in the area, but after years I finally stopped for dinner and I must say that it is as worth it as ever in every respect. If you want to eat well in a quiet place, a stop here is a must.

A true osteria that lives up to its name. Service until 4 p.m., excellent hospitality, plentiful, good-quality food at fair prices. The only flaw was the capunti with cardoon sauce, which wasn't the best flavor. You could tell the pasta had been cooked separately and mixed in with the sauce without any proper blending. Otherwise, everything was fine. I highly recommend it. Special mention goes to Padre Peppe, who served the pasta in a cute watering can afterward.

Recommended by friends from Altamura and by the owner of our B&B, this osteria turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was traditional, high-quality, and affordable. We were walking the Cammino Materano, and they were very kind and treated us exceptionally well. What a wonderful (and delicious!) experience.
