A small family-run trattoria in the town center with two dining rooms and friendly, welcoming staff. The menu is varied, with tasty, flavorful dishes and generous portions. Mid-range prices. Service times are average. Each dish features a touch of traditional cuisine with fresh, quality ingredients. (The fried seafood is top-notch, such as the sea beans.) Highly recommended, and reservations are recommended during the summer months. You'll be satisfied.

What else can I say except, FABULOUS! At Nello's, you truly feel at home: he welcomes you with a warmth that makes you feel pampered from the very first moment. As someone who's always on the fence, I tried all the appetizers... and I was delighted! Each one was better than the last. The fried food is simply perfect: dry, crispy, light. The first courses? A spectacle. And the meat? It melts in your mouth. The desserts also deserve a special mention: all homemade, delicious, and meticulously prepared. Nello is a guarantee: with his charm (he sits at the table with you and starts with his iconic presentation), passion, and professionalism, he manages to win you over completely. I recommend everyone stop by his place for a lunch or dinner filled with joy, good food, and the love that permeates every corner of the place. Kudos to him and his entire staff. With her smile and sweetness, she'll pamper you with pizza by the slice, fried foods, pasta dishes, and much more. I fell in love with their eggplant parmigiana: delicious!

Every time I'm in Santa Maria di Castellabate I go to enjoy Nello's good cuisine, always hospitable and friendly.

A wonderful discovery in the heart of Castellabate! The "Da Nello Pasta e Pizza" restaurant won us over with the quality of its dishes and authentic atmosphere. We sampled stuffed calamari, stuffed anchovies, cod with chickpeas, and to finish, a truly exceptional giant babbà: everything prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that reflect the local tradition. Great credit goes to Nello, whose kindness and friendliness made us feel right at home. Attentive service, a warm atmosphere, and excellent cuisine: we'll definitely be back!

Siamo stati in questo locale seguendo le recensioni ma i prezzi indicati nelle foto caricate su TripAdvisor erano decisamente diversi. Non abbiamo apprezzato il fatto che fossero stati modificati. Suggerisco al locale di aggiornare in modo onesto per evitare che il turista trovi dei costi maggiorati a sorpresa!

....Ultima domenica di Febbraio, sole e mare, un piacevole disguido e siamo arrivati da Nello a Santa Maria di Castellabate, oste simpaticissimo ed attento al cliente, il suo locale rispecchia lo spirito del proprietario. Piatti ottimi di pesce, ma anche fantasia di contaminazioni mediterranee a piatti della cucina napoletana e campana, tipo pasta e fagioli di mare.... è risultato per me, il top tra le portate, unitamente al misto Mare freschissimo, tra i secondi, ed i fiori di zucca imbottiti con una vellutata di ricotta di fuscella insaposito sapientemente da salumi tipo prosciutto e salame, purtroppo non ho chiesto a Nello di cosa fosse composto l'imbottitura ma gradevolissima... Per ultime due info da non sottovalutare tempo di attesa abbastanza contenuto, considerato che dalla cucina si udiva la preparazione fatta al momento delle portate, quindi molto importante, altro, che avendo due salette se la compagnia è superiore a 4 pax benissimo prenotare. da ripetere, ciao Nello .....l'ingegnere
