We just had one of the best culinary experiences of our trip through Europe. From the moment we walked in, the friendly service, the dishes, the dessert—everything was perfect. It's not your average restaurant. You order at the counter, and they call your plate. There's not much space inside, but everything is very organized, and when we were there, no one had to wait long for a table.
We ordered the carbonara and the fettuccine Bolognese; I can't decide which was more perfect! We also ordered both desserts; the chocolate cake almost made me cry, haha.
My boyfriend and I will definitely be back because we loved it!

It was simply incredible; from the welcome to the food and the atmosphere, everything was perfect. If you're ever in Rome, you absolutely must have a drink at Al 42 before you leave.
The entire team was very welcoming and warm. The pasta was absolutely delicious. I might even come back to Rome just for this restaurant. The fettuccine Alfredo was so much better with the pepper—thank you!

We went for lunch with my children and it was a fantastic experience. We tried 4 vegetarian dishes: lasagna, pasta alfredo, pesto and the chef's dish: pasta with fresh truffle! Spectacular! We couldn't stay and tried the two desserts, which were delicious. We thought it was a restaurant of excellent quality with a reasonable price, which also highlights the attentive service of its staff. I recommend it 100%

The carbonara and tiramisu were spectacular. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A good place to eat near the Colosseum; there's usually a line if you arrive late.

One of the best restaurants we've eaten at and we came across it by chance. The employees are welcoming and explain the menu to everyone who comes in, the food comes pretty quickly and is very tasty. Every day they have a new special that is definitely worth checking out. We went back to eat there twice.
