During the Crotti festival, I had the opportunity to try this delightful place. It wasn't a random choice; I was looking for traditional dishes with a touch of thoughtfulness, and I must say they fully met my expectations.
Two of us chose the traditional menu, and one dish was even better than the other:
Sciatt with a little batter and lots of cheese, pizzoccheri with just the right seasoning, not drowned in butter. The meat melted in your mouth and wasn't even needing a knife, so tender it was. The dessert on the menu wasn't anything fancy, but it was good.
Then we ordered tagliolini with mushrooms from the menu—exceptional—delicate and without seasoning. The dish was so generous that we only needed to finish with dessert. The dessert was a true delight: a cannoli with blueberries.
The atmosphere was elegant, and the service is silver! The staff were extremely friendly and the service was very fast.
Average bill, considering that we ate quality food: 3 of us, two menus and 1 à la carte - €50 per person, obviously we didn't have wine.

I traveled to Chiavenna by public transport via Prättigau, Engadin, and the Maloja Pass. I went exploring the old town of this provincial town. The alleys are bustling with life. My stay at the Passerini was absolutely delightful. The ambiance at the Palazzo Salis is inviting, the food is excellent, and the service is both competent and friendly. The value for money is good. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The return journey by post bus over the Splügen Pass is interesting. A very nice excursion with a GA or municipal day ticket to Chiavenna at no extra cost.

Fermarsi da Passerini d mangiare bene, coccolati in tutti i sensi dell‘ alimentazione, della gentilezza e della simpatia. Questo tris per molti ristoratori risulta talvolta arduo, qui é la regola aurea.

Passing in front of the restaurant entrance I always felt a sort of attraction until I tried to book a table for two and we made it.
Upon entering we found ourselves in a beautiful place, immediately welcomed cordially by the owner and the waiter.
We chose two menus and a fantastic native wine. Everything was truly perfect, fresh and tasty ingredients, great quality...so satisfaction at the top...it was a very positive experience and we will certainly return. We thank the staff

Passando davanti all'entrata del ristorante provavo sempre una sorta di attrazione fino a quando ho provato a prenotare un tavolo per due e ce l'abbiamo fatta.
Entrando ci si è trovati in un bellissimo locale, accolti subito cordialmente dal titolare e dal collaboratore di sala.
Abbiamo scelto due menù ed un fantastico vino autoctono. Tutto davvero perfetto, ingredienti freschi e saporiti, grandissima qualità...quindi soddisfazione al top...è stata un'esperienza positivissima e sicuramente ritorneremo. Ringraziamo lo staff
