We took the opportunity to come to Parma to visit with two nephews who are attending university, and together we tried dinner at Parma Rotta. It was a delightful experience: the restaurant was excellent, the service impeccable, and the waiter who accompanied us during dinner was excellent (a young man of Tunisian origin who attends university, whose name we don't know). The quality of the food was excellent (traditional tortelli and then the sublime Portuguese steak), not to mention their fiordilatte ice cream with zabaglione sauce, wow.
We'll definitely be back.

Highly recommended restaurant.
Greeted with smiles, super courteous and professional staff.
Super busy, but wait times were extremely short.
Fabulous salami, especially the sweetest prosciutto.
Pork shank cooked to perfection, varied and excellent appetizers.
Herb tortelli that respect tradition.
Finally, the desserts... sublime.
Must try the homemade fiordilatte ice cream made with organic milk... and the panettone with zabaglione.

Nice place. However, if the menu were posted outside, far fewer customers would come in... Good, sophisticated food, but exorbitant prices... 8 euros for a half glass of Barbera says it all... 5 euros for a cover charge... 2 breadsticks (for a few) and two crackers... 8 tortelli €20... nothing to complain about the quality, but it's not for everyone, so perhaps an open-front menu would be preferable.

The meat was delicious, the service/plating didn't match the price. I'd been to this place years ago and had exceptional memories. The location was beautiful. Perhaps just a bad day, though, in my opinion, the restaurant's caliber doesn't allow for ups and downs.

At Parma Rotta, you eat, drink, and have a wonderful time. It's not just the wine selection, the cooking of the meats, the delicious appetizers, but the entire setting, the ambiance, the service, and the attention to detail. We made a reservation for seven persons and were seated in an almost private room. That was a wonderful surprise because we were meeting friends we hadn’t seen for a long time. Even though we were a little hidden, there was always staff checking if we had everything we needed. The staff is amazing here! Very professional and always friendly. The food served is very good. I had the fried artichokes that my friend and husband loved so much. They weren’t really for me because I thought they were a little too salty and could use a dip on the side. My friend had the annoli in broth, which was amazing. The lasagne our youngest guest had, looked amazing and was well received. For the main course we had T-bone steak (perfect!), lamb (also wonderful), chicken (too dry, sorry) and the rib eye (I have had better, there were some tendons in my piece). We ended it all with their famous ice cream. Delicious and so much fun to be served! So all in all the food was good, but the service impeccable. We will be going again!

Outstanding atmosphere. Outstanding food. Outstanding staff. We had the beef tongue, lasagna and steak. All were prepared perfectly. The pineapple dessert is a must try.
