Parma Rotta In Parma

The experience was average. The ingredients were good, especially the cured meats, which were excellent. We had a Florentine steak for main course: the meat was good quality, but the cooking was below par. I wouldn't recommend it.

We returned to the Parma Rotta restaurant after many years, and I have to say it's not the same anymore. Excellent service, excellent location, but as someone else wrote... the food was reheated, and given the prices, that's unheard of. My wife and I shared a plate of grilled artichokes, and they were barely warm. The 1.450 kg Piedmontese Florentine steak was also reheated... the bone was clean and cold, certainly not taken from a grill. I pointed this out, and the obviously prompt and knowledgeable staff took the plate to reheat the Florentine steak, which came back a short time later and was not at all hot. I won't be returning... a negative experience. Your response was as prompt as it was predictable. It's a shame that we heard two other tables near ours complaining about the same thing... cold meat.

I discovered Parma Rotta on social media and went to meet them as soon as I could (I was coming from Genoa). What can I say...what I saw had already won me over, but eating there was a dream! 10 out of 10 to everyone! I'll be back as soon as I can!!

Four stars because the prices seem excessive compared to other places, but the service is impeccable and the food is always excellent.
