Last night, by chance, while wandering the streets of Lucca's city center, we were struck by a soft light. We approached and went in to ask if there was a place for two; luckily, there was still a table available. I don't usually write reviews, but this time it was definitely worth it... A super evening... Amazing dishes, top-quality products, a fantastic atmosphere with an extra touch. Thanks to Luis's hospitality, who carefully explained all of David's dishes to us. Highly recommended, a fantastic experience for the palate and the mood. Thanks Luis and David. We'll definitely be back.

Six exhausted Via Francegina pilgrims found this place after a 30+ km day of walking, and what a blessing it was. The very high quality of the food was exceeded only by the warmth and humor of the service. We feel so lucky to have found such a special place to spend our last evening together.

Lucca Comics season. Despite the large crowds in Lucca, we received a friendly and professional welcome at this restaurant. The manager warned us that the wait would be a little longer than usual, which was appreciated. The food was good and well-prepared. The customer service was always excellent. Recommended restaurant.

A truly positive experience! Excellent, refined dishes. A taste that reflects the ambiance and the customer service. Found this hidden jewel and glad we did. We appreciated the atmosphere and attention from the owner who was completely in love with serving people the best of everything. From the wine pairing with the meal , he knew his business. Before we leave Lucca we are going back so I can order his filet . Luis we love ya !

Many fellow tourists leave effusive reviews because they want to convince themselves that they are having an amazing holiday. This place is overrated and overpriced to be sure. The staff is very friendly but the chef leaves a lot to be desired. Ravioli with truffles was ok at best, mixed salad was crazy salty, and my eggplant starter was cold in the middle. Lucca is a tourist mecca, and like most other tourist restaurants in the historic center, this one disappoints- but with a higher than average tab.
