Found this hidden jewel and glad we did. We appreciated the atmosphere and attention from the owner who was completely in love with serving people the best of everything. From the wine pairing with the meal , he knew his business. Before we leave Lucca we are going back so I can order his filet .

Many fellow tourists leave effusive reviews because they want to convince themselves that they are having an amazing holiday. This place is overrated and overpriced to be sure. The staff is very friendly but the chef leaves a lot to be desired. Ravioli with truffles was ok at best, mixed salad was crazy salty, and my eggplant starter was cold in the middle. Lucca is a tourist mecca, and like most other tourist restaurants in the historic center, this one disappoints- but with a higher than average tab.

The food was perfection and along with the amazing host who clearly knows how to run a restaurant to excellence, this restaurant can't be missed...

An excellent location in a small square away from the crowds. The service is attentive and friendly. The dishes are remarkably well-executed and a real treat for the taste buds. A must-try!

What a wonderful experience! I ate divinely at Bistrot Paris Bohème—every dish was carefully prepared and bursting with flavor. But what truly made the evening special was the owner: he took the time to explain everything in a warm, passionate, and typically Italian manner, as if we were in a small trattoria tucked away in the heart of Rome or Florence. His personal attention, enthusiasm, and love for good food and hospitality were palpable. It's one of those places where you immediately feel welcome, and where passion for food and culture is at the heart of everything. An authentic and unforgettable experience—highly recommended!

A top-quality restaurant right in the center of Lucca, with remarkable food (delicious meatballs and excellent fillet steak), and a very friendly host who welcomed us despite the late hour, after a concert at the Lucca Summer Festival, and without a reservation (highly recommended). We dined outdoors under the gaze of the Puccini statue, but the interior ambiance was also delightful.

After visiting the Puccini Museum, we had a delicious limoncello here!

Accolti da Luis con grande simpatia, abbiamo pranzato all’esterno nonostante fossimo attirati dall’arredamento interno molto curato e d’effetto.
