We stopped for a spritz...we noticed they made the cicchetti on the spot, so let's go for it!! Both the cod one and the shrimp in saor one were fabulous. Then we saw a plate of fried fish at the next table and ordered that too...excellent both in terms of the way it was cooked and the quantity and variety of fish. Well done!!!

We ended up eating at Merca, recommended by our hotelier. Upon arrival, we were immediately escorted to our table and promptly brought us the menu. We chose the bigoli in salsa, the grilled vegetables, and the cuttlefish with polenta, and everything exceeded our wildest expectations. To round out an already excellent dinner, we ordered homemade biscuits with sweet wine, which were also simply delicious. Very prompt service. Highly recommended!

A casual and pleasant place. Its strong point is definitely the fried seafood, offered in a variety of flavors and not too greasy. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

Food is good but service is quite poor. Seems more like a place for locals, food was pretty decent but the service felt rushed and lacked in presence. All other tables had complimentary bread and were checked on regularly. Again, great food but maybe not best for tourists.

A charming restaurant with friendly staff who clearly enjoy taking care of their guests. They're happy to help you make the right choice. We had a delicious fish dish with a wonderful wine. The creme brulee is the best I've ever had. A must-try if you're at Lido. We'll definitely be back.

10/05/2026: Absolutely delicious and authentic Venetian food. Frittura mista, sarde in saor, artichokes, and scampi. Highly recommended.
26/04/2026: This place was a local recommendation. One of the best food we had in Italy was here. Service was fast and efficient. Easy to communicate. We had a great time! Their lemon yuzu cake is gluten and lactose free. And it’s REALLY good. Not heavy, not too sweet, nicely tangy and refreshing. It was my favorite dessert in Venice.

15/03/2025: Nous avons cherché désespérément dans Venise un restaurant respectueux de la cuisine italienne et des clients, en vain, jusqu'à tomber sur cette trattoria ! Cuisine delicieuse, service très professionnel et tarif très correct. Merci de relever le niveau de la plupart de vos confrères. Nous y sommes retournés 2 fois lors de notre court séjour.
