We stopped for a spritz...we noticed they made the cicchetti on the spot, so let's go for it!! Both the cod one and the shrimp in saor one were fabulous. Then we saw a plate of fried fish at the next table and ordered that too...excellent both in terms of the way it was cooked and the quantity and variety of fish. Well done!!!

We ended up eating at Merca, recommended by our hotelier. Upon arrival, we were immediately escorted to our table and promptly brought us the menu. We chose the bigoli in salsa, the grilled vegetables, and the cuttlefish with polenta, and everything exceeded our wildest expectations. To round out an already excellent dinner, we ordered homemade biscuits with sweet wine, which were also simply delicious. Very prompt service. Highly recommended!

A casual and pleasant place. Its strong point is definitely the fried seafood, offered in a variety of flavors and not too greasy. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

Food is good but service is quite poor. Seems more like a place for locals, food was pretty decent but the service felt rushed and lacked in presence. All other tables had complimentary bread and were checked on regularly. Again, great food but maybe not best for tourists.

A charming restaurant with friendly staff who clearly enjoy taking care of their guests. They're happy to help you make the right choice. We had a delicious fish dish with a wonderful wine. The creme brulee is the best I've ever had. A must-try if you're at Lido. We'll definitely be back.

10/03/2026: I had a late lunch with my daughter at this restaurant, inspired by Paya's blog. The recommended seafood risotto was superb. It was hands down the best risotto I've ever had. The rice was perfectly firm, the seafood flavor was delicious, the shrimp was plump, and the Italian parsley was crisp. From my seat, I could see the chef's process, and he was very attentive. Risotto orders are for two or more people, so unfortunately, we couldn't order the vongole. The burrata was also delicious. The waiter was cheerful and attentive, making for a very satisfying lunch. The restaurant was also immaculately clean, with not a speck of dust on the surface.
