Very pretty and close to the central square. Typical food and excellent service

Four of us were there for dinner. The Padrone's advice in advance concerned, on the one hand, the additional food on offer for the evening and, on the other hand, tips on special dishes from the menu. The dishes we chose (crostini misti, various starters and main courses, dolci) were all successful and amazed us with their exceptional and delicious taste and creative presentation on the different plates. Of particular note were the gustatory explosions in the composition of the ingredients of individual dishes (homemade tagliatelle with wild boar ragu and raisins flavored in sweet wine, Gorgonzola with chocolate sauce and Vino Santo). Overall, beautiful cellar vaults, good food and wine advice and exceptional dishes, this evening leaves you with the feeling of having found a jewel in Italian gastronomy. Just to kneel down.

Excellent menu, good quality of the dishes offered, polite, kind and always attentive staff, the owner as well as being prepared, always smiling and ready to joke, all topped off with a very suggestive location in the ancient village of Massa Marittima! Experience to repeat next holiday!!

High level culinary experience! The innkeeper Alessio and his guys were friendly and welcoming. We tasted some tagliolini with fresh truffles that we couldn't resist just the smell of. Finally, the house-made crunchy tiramisu was a "sweet" discovery!!! We will be back!

Very nice tavern with typical Maremma food and more. Lots of local products (of excellent quality) and a lot of care in the dishes. Sufficient service compensated by the owner who is very present and attentive to requests. Prices slightly higher than the gastronomic panorama of Massa. Definitely worth trying (excellent Maremma tortelli)

Bel locale situato in palazzo storico di Massa Marittima. Molto cordiale il personale e davvero ottima la cucina tipica toscana. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Posto incantevole, muri e travi a vista sullo stile di una antica locanda. Seguiti da un gentilissimo personale abbiamo ordinato tortelli maremmani al sugo, trippa, cinghiale in umido, crostini ecc. ecc.. Il tutto è stato davvero molto buono, accompagnato da una ottima bottiglia di vino Monteregio, su cui non è stato praticato un eccessivo ricarico. Ottima anche la grappa all'Avvoltore fine pasto. Prezzo assolutamente giusto (circa 35 euro a testa) per come abbiamo mangiato e per come siamo stati. Complimenti.
