A group of friends and I happened upon Massa Marittima last Sunday. Among the many restaurants to choose from, we definitely chose the best. Excellent food, impeccable service, and friendly staff. A gem of a restaurant in a charming and lively village!

We were charmed by this lovely restaurant with its beautiful galleries and little nooks. The food was not to be outdone and was delicious: green salad with very fragrant mushrooms, the filet mignon is tender and well prepared and the tiramisu is as soft as you could wish for. A marvel!

Locale ottimamente ristrutturato, piatti curati e molto buoni, gentilezza sia per noi che per la nostra cagnolona, abbiamo pranzato piacevolmente sosta estremamente positiva. Complimenti!

Location veramente incantevole, sarà che mi piacciono molto le cose rustiche e qui ho appagato a pieno le mie aspettative. La pietra viva alle pareti, le travi in legno ed il cotto in terra rendono l’atmosfera unica, sembra di viaggiare in dietro nel tempo. Il personale è veramente tutto molto cordiale e gentile, vi accolgono con il sorriso e vi servono con competenza e tempi d’attesa perfetti. Il menù offre piatti della tradizione toscana, molto valida la carta dei vini. Ho mangiato delle tagliatelle burro e tartufo estintivo molto equilibrate nel gusto, buonissima anche la trippa alla toscana. L’unica delusione per me è stato il crostino toscano (gli altri erano molto buoni), non ho apprezzato la “cremosità” del paté, io lo preferisco classico e “granulare”, peccato. Ottimo i cantucci fatti in casa serviti con il classico vin santo. I distillati sono di qualità, li prendono vicino Capalbio, una garanzia. Buono anche il caffè. Prezzi giusti per ciò che vi portano nel piatto.
