Osteria Senza Fretta In Cuneo

We found this restaurant in the Slow Food guide and it fully met our expectations. We enjoyed all the dishes, including the wine recommended by the staff.

I'm in love with this place! The staff are so friendly, the rooms are so clean and wonderful, and the location is fantastic. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly kind and helpful. Every day when we got to our rooms, everything was spotless, and there was a complimentary cookie and coffee. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was great. There's heating, and a small shared outdoor area with a mini-fridge, table, and chairs. The stairs are a bit of a hassle, but I know some rooms in other buildings have elevators. As for the restaurant, it's a 10 out of 10! The food is amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We went several times, and I ordered several dishes again because I loved them so much! Reservations are recommended, just in case.

We had dinner at the osteria on Saturday. The service was super friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The food was excellent. The service was quick, even though it was busy. I highly recommend it for a great dinner!

The room was very elegant, clean, and welcoming. We felt right at home. The location is very convenient, close to the main road, yet quiet, peaceful, and relaxing.

We visited here for a wine tasting evening, which proved to be very interesting thanks to the presence of relatively young producers from the Saluzzo area. We therefore decided to stay for dinner as well, a truly perfect choice. Every course was exquisite: from the appetizer, a delicate and flavorful sausage-stuffed zucchini flower, to the first course, the Stura Valley cruset, unique and beautifully executed, to the dessert, a lavender white chocolate mousse with fresh blueberries, crumble, and blueberry sorbet, the true highlight of the evening. A gastronomic experience that combines quality, local tradition, and creativity, absolutely recommended.

We stayed at this establishment in the historic center of Cuneo years ago and had a wonderful time. This year we returned for dinner and can confirm our excellent opinion of the restaurant. If you drink too much, you can stay the night and leave 😉😁
