Decent restaurant in an ancient village above Lake Orta.
Very rustic and well kept.
The dishes were quality but unfortunately there was little choice.

Osteria San Martino was a pleasant discovery. The place is very welcoming and well-kept, the menu is varied, the wine list is also excellent. The staff was attentive and kind. On the advice of those who invited us, we tried the San Martino appetizer, a rich and tasty dish with quality products. The desserts were also excellent. Highly recommended, we will return. 👍

So lovely ! After a nice piece of stairs we were directly there . All of it was professional and heartfelt: the welcome , the stuzzicchini , the care of the service, quality of the dishes (!) , check-in/check-out , really a soo good experience. Grazie mille per tutto !

The food was really good, authentic Italian cuisine with decent portions. Very limited number of tourists when visited. The setting is cozy and traditional. The parking is on the public square close by, limited number of spots.

Herzlicher Empfang, sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Die einzelnen Gerichte sind ausgezeichnet zubereitet und werden top präsentiert. Gehobene Kochkunst. Vom Gruss aus der Küche bis zum Café stimmt alles. Schöne Auswahl an Antipasti, Primi und Hauptgang. Für jeden etwas dabei. Auch eine sehr gute Weinkarte. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren pranzo sehr genossen. Wer es vorzieht, abseits der Touristenmeile, in authentischer Atmosphäre hervorragende italienische Küche zu geniessen, ist hier richtig. Wir können es sehr empfehlen.
