Osteria in a small hamlet just above Lake Orta, a quiet and well-kept place. The food is great! Accepts dogs. Just before entering the Borgetto you will find a car park as the tavern does not have one. Perhaps the cost of the dishes is a little high, for two with 2 water, 1 starter, 1 first course, 1 dessert, 2 coffees we spent €57

Osteria at a high level.
The Fassone beef carne cruda was perfect (generous portion). The fried vegetables were also tasty.
The primi were tasty, although the cozze (mussels) in the gnocchetti with pesto weren't necessary.
All in all, a successful evening with friendly and attentive service. Attention: Tiramisù “saved” right at the beginning😉, otherwise no one might have it anymore...
Wine recommendation: Barolo Monfalletto from Montezemolo (top price/performance)

Fantastic restaurant.
We enjoyed all the dishes for 2 evenings. Mixed primi, great flavors and good portions. Main course duck, beef or trout, everything was great.
The highlight was the tagliata di manzo, which was perfectly prepared and well-flavored. Also an excellent selection of good wines. (Gewürtztraminer 2021, and Bramitello 2016)

Yes it is a bit expensive but that is the cost of great food. This is a real restaurant and great experience, I don't know how you could give this place less than 5 stars.

Pranzo di Pasqua in famiglia, che dire tutto eccellente, il filetto con aceto al tartufo sublime, soddisfatti, non è la prima volta ed è sempre un enorme piacere! Complimenti!!!!

Locale caldo ed accogliente.un po fastidioso l'ingresso con odore di sigaretta. Piatto di formaggi misti nella norma con marmellate . Quella di cipolla di tropea una bomba le altre due scarse. Tortellini di magro al burro e salvia e nocetta di maiale con speck e aceto balsamico discreti ma nulla di eccezionale. Prezzi un po cari.
