I'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, and the opportunity finally arrived on Easter Sunday. The atmosphere, like the service, is welcoming and attentive, as are the dishes (starting with the bread, which is homemade; the onion focaccia is supreme). All are carefully crafted and beautiful; you eat with your eyes first, then with your palate. Impeccable dishes and a good wine list. We'll definitely be back to try the chef's other dishes. Volevo festeggiare il compleanno di mia mamma e ho pensato all' Osteria San Marco. Ho invitato anche i miei cugini. Abbiamo mangiato e bevuto benissimo, anche io che sono vegetariana. Una cena informale in un locale carinissimo e soprattutto in cui il servizio è stato ottimo e il cibo eccellente! Ci torneremo! Grazie per la sorpresa a mia mamma ♥️

Portions too small, the only flaw

Lunch as a couple, a totally positive experience!

Osteria San Marco is a small restaurant in the historic center of Chivasso. Personally, I don't consider it a tavern, even if there is a long wine list, which is reduced to 3 or 4 if you choose to drink wine by the glass. The restaurant is very elegant and intimate, certainly ideal for a romantic dinner. The service is kind, although not always attentive, perhaps because the table is followed by at least 3 different waiters and this leads to a bit of confusion. The dishes are good, the raw materials are of high quality, in my personal taste not all the ingredients mix well together, but you can see that there is research behind them and that there is the intention to aim high. There is an à la carte menu, or the possibility of choosing a meat or fish tasting menu. Personally I found the quantity of food served in line with a tasting menu, but the quantity of dishes was not, I believe that a tasting menu requires more dishes, given that the quantities are smaller. Prices are medium/high, appropriate for the idea of ​​the restaurant you want to give. Definitely recommended for a different dinner than usual

What can I say...a wonderful discovery. My wife and I celebrated our 3 years of marriage and chose the meat tasting menu. All very good. We will definitely come back to try the fish one 😍
