An excellent family experience at Osteria San Giorgio.
Four of us dined and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients, all rooted in Tuscan tradition. The dishes are carefully prepared and beautifully presented, perfectly in keeping with the restaurant's atmosphere.
The atmosphere is tidy and impeccably clean, details that make the experience even more enjoyable. A solid choice for those seeking the typical flavors of Lucca in a welcoming and well-managed setting. Recommended.

We went for dinner on Christmas Eve at the recommendation of an acquaintance from Lucca, who had recommended this restaurant for the quality of the meat served. We actually had an excellent fillet steak, very tender and tasty. There was a small mix-up in our order, but everyone was very kind in trying to fix it and make us feel comfortable.

Typical Lucchese osteria in the city, probably one of the last (if not the last) that isn't touristy. Truly delicious dishes and a homey yet elegant atmosphere. My partner, my two-year-old daughter, and I went for lunch. We ordered a meat platter (premium Garfagnana cured meats and cheeses) and two plates of tordelli with ragù, which I can honestly say were the best I've had since living in Lucca. The filling was super delicate and the ragù sensational. Highly recommended.
The staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. The price was super fair. For anyone coming to Lucca and wanting to eat something truly traditional, I highly recommend a stop here.
