I recommend it. Clean and discreetly furnished informal restaurant. Very kind staff. Quick to serve. Excellent food. Good prices compared to the Lucca average: 1 starter (6 mixed crostini), 1 grilled beef fillet, 1 fried fish and vegetables, 1 grilled vegetables, 1 water, 2 glasses of red wine, 1 coffee, 77 euros. Everything really excellent.

4 of us arrived for dinner. Very welcoming, quiet place. Everyone is very kind and super helpful. Excellent dishes. Artichoke salad never eaten so good. Both meat and fish perfect.👍

I don't know how to thank the people who work in this restaurant. Not only is my food excellent, inexpensive and the place is very pretty. I'm Belgian and I forgot my jacket on the terrace. They very kindly sent it back to me in Belgium. In short, thank you for this wonderful culinary experience and your extreme kindness 😊

Lovely place tucked away down a side street. Very nice sea bream and a perfectly cooked fillet steak. Very friendly staff. To recommend.

Just when you think things can’t get much better in Italy you arrive in Lucca and then stumble across Osteria San Giorgio. Delightful food, tasty house wine, friendly staff who support efforts to learn the language and incredibly affordable prices. Without a tip our fantastic dinner was less than 60 Euros including wine, desert and a liqueur. Bravo and Brava to the fine folk at san Giorgio for capping off a wonderful evening in the magical town of Lucca.
