excellent, as is the presentation of the dishes, beautiful to look at, as well as good.
Even for children, who do not eat more particular foods, the chef allows them to choose between different options. The veal cutlet is excellent, freshly made, instead of the usual frozen chicken cutlet. This is a plus for me.

Food is excellent -service and atmosphere are great! Consistency over time, I enjoy dinner there every time I stop in Matera. Looking forward to visiting again.

We had a very good meal here. The pastas were fresh, light, and flavourful. My wife loved the decor. The server was very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Sommes tombés par hasard sur ce restaurant qui au premier abord n’attire pas l’œil du client… car place au milieu de la grande via touristique… bref mais une fois installé, le patron parlant français nous conseille en fonction de nos envies et la c’est la découverte, l’entrée , ou plat et dessert sont succulents ! Ça vaut le coup de s’arrêter et on ne regrette pas ! bravo nous recommandons sans réserve 🤩 nous avons manger ailleurs dans un restaurant mieux classé le jour suivant, mais Osteria San Francesco est de loin le meilleur des 2 🫶parole de Français épicurien 👍

We were walking around this beautiful city and accidentally we founded this espectacular restaurant. The service, the plates including the dry peppers, the focaccia, salad and then the parmesan poached eggs with truffles, pasta with truffles, boneless lamp leg, veal cheek, all special. Highly recommend this restaurant. Bravooooooo👏👏👏👏
