A nice little spot in a good location but it was very average to be honest. Small portions and poor service. We sat inside to avoid people smoking, awful table location and very little service unless your outside, waited for plates, waited for cutlery, offered drinks once.

We visited this restaurant with a local friend, and I must say we were pleasantly surprised: top-quality ingredients and perfect, never boring combinations. The egg and eggplant millefeuille were excellent. We'll definitely be back.

La comida estaba muy buena, comimos carne, que fue la mejor que hemos comido en las dos semanas que llevamos aquí. Los ñoquis también estaban muy buenos, el tartar de encima estaba fresco, bueno. Y la pasta con trufa como cualquier otra, buenísima. Realmente recomiendo visitarlo, el ambiente también es bastante acogedor y bueno. El dueño es muy amigable.

Bel locale nel centro di Matera, cibo locale rivisto da cuoco molto competente anche se un po’ alti i prezzi ma la qualità è alta. Però non è pensabile di mangiare in locale di questo livello solo sul tavolo senza una tovaglia di stoffa e nemmeno una tovaglietta di carta. Questo è fortemente richiesto, per cui do solo 4 di punteggio !

16/11/2025: A wonderful experience, accompanied by my dog. The agriturismo is easy to reach, surrounded by greenery among orange, mandarin, and kiwi trees. Standard rooms, super comfortable pillows, spacious bathroom. The room was located away from the main building, which was top-notch, providing a sense of peace. Breakfast and dinner are locally sourced, with everything homemade: fruit, jams, pastries, yogurt, pasta, passata... I highly recommend this agriturismo; I will definitely return.
21/10/2025: We spent a lovely weekend at Pago. The atmosphere is very rustic and decidedly clean, with locally sourced cuisine using top-quality ingredients. We had the opportunity to dine and have breakfast on the property, and what can I say? All the ingredients were excellent, with generous breakfasts featuring yogurt, fruit, nuts, jams, and homemade desserts. Dinner also included a selection of simple and elaborate dishes, all unique and delicious. We also visited their farm several times, where my daughter was entertained by many new animal friends. It's conveniently located between Nova Siri, Rotondella, and Policoro. Definitely an experience worth repeating and highly recommended.
