Everything super good and friendly staff

Pleasantly impressed by this intimate and original place, located inside a small cave, a refreshment on hot summer days, outside a small station delights the guest with a view of the square of an ancient church. The staff is very friendly and affable as well as competent and well organized. The dishes are a good combination of traditional innovation, the pasta they serve is all deliciously and expertly handmade, from appetizers to dessert, from the good wine that the place keeps very well, to the friendliness of the owner, I recommend visiting it and trying it to believe it. I spent a very pleasant lunch with a gem that I will never forget, they made it a birthday to remember ❤️ Thank you Osteria San Francesco. I really recommend it!

If you love authenticity, in food and human relationships, you can't miss visiting Francesco, Massimo and Christian who will make you feel more like friends than guests. We spent 2 days in the town of Altomonte for the first time, as soon as we arrived we looked for a restaurant because it was lunch time and luck took us to the S.Francesco tavern. A very characteristic place with home cooking: fresh food, cooked with love by Massimo, the chef, very tasty with personalized recipes. Very kind staff. The owner is very good, very communicative, on the 2nd day we returned with a couple of American friends. Fish lunch exceptional. Congratulations to all the staff of the S.Francesco tavern.

I had the tagleteli with mixed mushrooms and the wild boar stew both were excellent. The owner was very welcoming,friendly, and entertaining in all a very pleasureable dining experience.

The Osteria San Francesco, for me and my boyfriend, was a wonderful discovery, starting from the dishes, exquisite and made with high quality raw materials, ending with the wines, of which there is a vast choice and with the environment, super welcoming and truly characteristic. The owner Francesco, together with his brother, are two very nice people and always ready to recommend the best to please the customers' palates. We enjoyed some excellent fish, even better than what some seaside resorts offer. The creamed cod is delicious, and if I say so, as I don't eat cod, you can believe it. Last but not least: the desserts, to be precise! Never tasted anything so good. We will be back soon, or rather, very soon! Compliments!

Che bella scoperta! Tra i due menù abbiamo optato per quello di pesce,freschissimo e cucinato con estrema maestria. Un buonissimo ristorante trovato passeggiando per la sempre suggestiva Altomonte. Da ritornarci,da consigliare!

Pesce molto buono, la cosa che ho preferito è stata la zuppetta di zucca e gamberi. Davvero sublime! Personale davvero cortese e simpatico, prodotti freschi con sapori non scontati! Ci ritorneremo
