We had a lovely experience with simple lovely meals. I really enjoyed my steak, it was more like a lovely stew.

A very pleasant experience, which happened almost by chance The owner Francesco, a very nice person, pleasantly enlivened our lunch. Availability, hospitality and courtesy are the winning horses. We felt like we were among lifelong friends. I recommend the starter with creamed cod and the fish first courses. Breadsticks, focaccia and lemon sorbet made by the kitchen. Good choice of wines.

Eccellente: cibo davvero straordinario, saporito con porzioni abbondanti, staff pronto, simpatico e efficiente, servizi igienici e bagni perfetti, velocità nel servizio, ventilato se si cerca un posto fresco e dotato di una bellissima vista sul borgo di altomonte

Da Milano in viaggio verso la Sicilia, pausa di una notte, ad Altomonte un bellissimo Borgo dove la cordialità e la pulizia del Borgo la fanno da padrone. Il nostro gestore dell'hotel ci consiglia tale osteria. Il signore Francesco, nato per questo lavoro, ci mette subito a nostro agio. Visto la convenzione con l'hotel potevamo avere il menù fisso oppure alla carta. Avevamo voglia di pesce, quindi alla carta, piatti abbondanti e tutto freschissimo, per essere un'osteria la presentazione dei piatti era molto elegante. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. I Sanci

26/08/2024: In general the food is excellent (typical Calabrian) and the management is excellent, the owner is friendly and the daughters are excellent at serving tables, the wife is excellent in the kitchen. perhaps a little expensive, four starters and three second courses and a first course, two desserts, water and a quarter of local wine €150. They weighed the starters which were mixed and plentiful but expensive. If I had spent a total of €120 I would have been happier. Here I had the Stockholm effect: it's good and expensive, I would go back. In any case recommended, you eat well
