A beautiful discovery in the heart of Altomonte. Francesco is a true host, attentive to all needs (we had several food intolerances at the table including one to gluten). Typical dishes of excellent quality, very fresh and delicious fish at very low prices. Highly recommended!

The San Francesco tavern offers a decent choice of dishes and all cooked with care.
I had the opportunity to eat at their place for 3 days in a row and the dishes were always plentiful and tasty.
The added value is the friendliness of the dining room staff.

Super tavern, super food and Francesco, the innkeeper, is a real volcano!
The creamed cod melts in your mouth and the cicioria is one of the best I've ever eaten in my life. With us at the table there were various intolerances and Francesco was thoughtful and attentive in satisfying everyone's needs (celiacs, lactose/chilli intolerances)
The Jentilino wine is excellent
The location is also very nice and with easy parking

Da Milano in viaggio verso la Sicilia, pausa di una notte, ad Altomonte un bellissimo Borgo dove la cordialità e la pulizia del Borgo la fanno da padrone.
Il nostro gestore dell'hotel ci consiglia tale osteria.
Il signore Francesco, nato per questo lavoro, ci mette subito a nostro agio.
Visto la convenzione con l'hotel potevamo avere il menù fisso oppure alla carta.
Avevamo voglia di pesce, quindi alla carta, piatti abbondanti e tutto freschissimo, per essere un'osteria la presentazione dei piatti era molto elegante.
Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
