Very good food, but do NOT bring children. They are not welcome and we felt very stressed from the moment of walking in and the waiter’s disdain. I took my kids outside while we waited for the first course and he scorned me for the ‘food getting cold’ when we returned only minutes later. The waiter insisted he said it wasn’t a place for children on the phone, which was not clear for us. Great atmosphere and food for an adult only meal.

We chose the regional menu and were absolutely delighted. The presentation, ambiance, value for money of our lunch, and ultimately the delicious meal were the highlight of our visit to Ostuni. Bravo!

Awarded the Bib Gourmand 2025, Osteria Piazzetta Cattedrale is a beautiful restaurant nestled in the heart of Ostuni's historic center. The setting is charming and the service attentive. The meat dishes are particularly successful: the lamb chops are tender and full of flavor, while the perfectly grilled veal tomahawk steak rivals the finest restaurants. However, the pasta dishes—especially the lobster gnocchi and the risotto with oyster sauce—don't quite reach the same heights. Every restaurant has its strengths: here, I would definitely focus on the meat dishes.

The best food in Ostuni! We had a fantastic full Italian experience. We shared the aubergine flan, the seafood and burrata pasta, the fava bean, and then the tuna and cod mains which were both amazing. Would recommend booking

Simply PERFECT. Our best restaurant in Italy. The service was impeccable, with a very friendly, warm, and attentive staff. The dishes were divine and the flavors exceptional. Quality cuisine, I recommend it 100%! Remember to make a reservation as there are only a few seats and the dining room is small, but there was no inconvenience; it was quiet, and the tables were well spaced apart. In short, it was perfect.

Very overpriced for what they have to offer. 4 euros each for coperto and water.. the food is not worth the hype considering the long wait to get the reservation..

The best food I had in my last trip to Italy was at this Michelin recommended restaurant. It’s a very small place, so be sure to book in advance for dinner or try your luck for lunch.

Sono stato con mia famiglia è abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Abbiamo scelto solo degli antipasti (buonissime) e poi le Lasagnette (ottime) insieme a un bicchiere di vino consigliato. 🥂👌💪

17/02/2026: A typical Pugliese restaurant where you can try traditional dishes. They start with a huge antipasto that will leave you completely satisfied and finish with different types of meat or fried fish.
01/02/2026: We had dinner with family last night, January 31st. We were amazed by the quantity and quality of the products offered, and to top it all off, the bill...unbelievable!!! My compliments to you and I hope you continue like this!!! Highly recommended.

27/01/2026: It has truly become a favorite place, having eaten there several times in recent months. For me, it's among the best in the entire province of Brindisi. The decor, at first glance homey but actually well-refined, conveys a cozy warmth, like that of a grandmother's house or a Sunday lunch with the family. The details make the difference, like the disposable towels in the bathroom. The menu is varied and top-notch: the house antipasto is absolutely recommended. The classic dishes, such as those featuring horse meat, are delicious, with traditional flavors yet presented in a modern way. The seafood dishes are also highly recommended, and finally, the high-end seasonal off-menu options, such as black and white truffles or porcini mushrooms. The desserts are also top-notch. They haven't missed a beat! The prices are moderately high, depending on what you order, obviously. For an appetizer, first or second course, dessert, coffee, and a glass of wine, we're looking at roughly 30 to 40 euros. Well done!
