A beautiful Sunday in Angera ended with a wonderful lunch at this osteria. Excellent food, excellent quality. Excellent raw materials expertly prepared, truly beautiful and inviting presentation. The wine list is truly extensive and high-quality. We ate truly well, with excellent quality products. The wine cellar is very well stocked and worthy of the cuisine. Excellent, attentive service. We paid a fair price for the quality. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Perfect for quick business lunches

We went a few days ago without a reservation. We were warmly welcomed, and that was a great calling card. The restaurant looks very nice and is very cute. Looking at the menu, we decided to try a first course, which was very disappointing. I've never eaten a plate of undercooked pasta. Next, they brought us a tiramisu variation that we didn't like at all. What really disappointed us was that we weren't even asked if we liked the food, either at the table or at the cashier when we paid the exorbitant bill. Not even in Portofino do they charge a €5 cover charge, and even water is €5. I'd say avoid it.

Three of us (two adults and a child) ordered two first courses and two 75cl bottles of sparkling water. The first courses each cost €20. Aside from the fact that I may have chosen poorly and found the ravioli al plin with grape must to be very sweet, although good quality, the bill came to €65, including €15 for a cover charge (€5 each) and €10 for water (two 75cl bottles). The staff was friendly, but the bill was inadequate.

Excellent restaurant, with refined dishes and high-quality local products. One of the best cacio e pepe I've ever eaten. Wide selection of wines. Pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, with tables also in the internal garden. Dog-friendly. The only drawback is the €5 cover charge per person. I find the cover charge to be a bad practice that some restaurants maintain. It's usually €2 or €2.50.

Zuerst waren wir ein wenig irritiert. Wo genau ist der Eingang? Durch die Terrasse? Abends offen ab 19:00. Um 19:00 war jedoch die Türe noch geschlossen. Dies hat uns verunsichert. Einige Minuten später wurde die Türe geöffnet und wir wurden freundlich gegrüßt. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und einladend. Der Chef und das Personal sind freundlich. Das Essen ist sehr gut und sehr schön angerichtet. Die Weinkarte ist riesig und wer Geld ohne Ende hat, kann auch gerne Weine für mehrere hundert Euro trinken. Wir haben uns für einen Wein in der normalen Preisklasse entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Preis - ich kann mir vorstellen, dass sich das Lokal für italienische Verhältnisse eher im oberen Bereich bewegt. Die Qualität und wie die Speisen angeordnet sind, sind jedoch ach mehr als überdurchschnittlich.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante il giorno di Pasquetta, (nel "dehor" esterno) ordinando piatti di pesce meritevoli sia per la freschezza degli ingredienti che per la preparazione. Ritorneremo sicuramente per gustare la loro carne che, alla vista, risulta essere invitante. Prezzi in linea col menù proposto..... consigliamo la visita!
