I don't think I've ever experienced such a warm welcome and attentive service! An enchanting place in the heart of Umbria, where you can enjoy traditional dishes prepared with absolute love! ❤️ The owner is incredibly delicious; you can feel her passion for catering. Mimosa, the other waitress, is incredibly friendly and attentive to everything! I had a wonderful evening, drinking good wine and eating excellent products. I was amazed to find most of the dishes are gluten-free 😍 A must-try: lamb offal (I think I was blown away by the first bite), and the tagliatelle with Perugian ragù (a delicate and delicious ragù!) I wholeheartedly recommend this place, both for the deliciousness of the dishes and for the wonderful people who work there!

I dined at Borgo Mela and had a truly delightful experience. The setting is enchanting, with meticulous attention to detail, and manages to be both eclectic and elegant. The atmosphere is relaxing and allows you to escape from your daily routine. The cuisine offers authentic local flavors, enhanced with a touch of creativity that makes each dish special without compromising tradition. Everything is prepared with care, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. An added bonus is definitely the owner, a wonderful, kind, and passionate person, who, along with the staff, makes you feel at home from the moment you enter until the moment you leave. A restaurant I recommend to anyone looking for good food, a great atmosphere, and a genuine welcome.

My husband and I went to this enchanting place for dinner to celebrate our twenty-seventh wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time, ate delicious food, and felt pampered by the "hostess," who immediately welcomed us as if she were a friend you haven't seen in a while. She came to our table right away and explained the menu. The waitresses were also very attentive and friendly. Among the dishes we ate, I give a special mention to the Mattonella and the truffle cappellacci. And then came the surprise: the apple cake with the words "Happy Anniversary, 27 Years of Love." We couldn't have been treated any better. Thank you.

The atmosphere is truly charming and welcoming, the staff attentive but not stuffy, and the explanations of the menu and dishes clearly show their passion and love for this profession. Kudos also to the cuisine, truly excellent and made with quality ingredients: the flan with Cannara onions was exceptional, as was the tagliata!

A place that truly impressed me. You can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients, but above all, the love with which they're selected and cooked. The welcome is warm and authentic, making you feel at ease from the first moment. A special mention goes to the owner: it's truly a pleasure to listen to her explain the menu, she does it with sincere and engaging passion. And that's precisely what makes the difference: being able to convey her love for this job, a beautiful thing that, unfortunately, is increasingly rare. Everything was truly impeccable, from the warm welcome from the owner (who greeted us like old, dear friends) to the service, which was definitely no less... Excellent menu... Here we are, a year later, "with joy in our hearts," we've returned to the Borgomela restaurant, certain to rediscover the warm welcome of owner Loretta and the excellent cuisine of her daughter Eugenia. Traditional Umbrian and Tuscan dishes, spectacularly executed by the chef, with special attention paid to the gluten-free options for those of us with celiac disease. All the dishes are exquisite, from appetizers to desserts. The before, during, and after meals with Loretta become unforgettable moments. An experience not to be missed.
