Fantastically delicious, perfectly prepared food! The risotto was the best I've ever had. The service was also professional! It seemed fancy at first, but the prices and the whole atmosphere made us forget about it. We had a great time and had a delicious dinner! 10/10 in every way!

Today, three of my friends and I, fresh from a concert, booked a table, not knowing what it was like, but reading the excellent reviews. We were dressed very casually, so we immediately apologized upon entering.
But the entire staff made us feel at ease, treating us like queens... I can honestly say it's not easy to find a place that combines elegance, kindness, and helpfulness...
And as for the food... masterpieces...

Had an excellent late night dinner. Our hotel concierge (Excelsior Gallia) recommended that we go here, and we were very glad we did.
The restaurant is much larger than what you see as you approach it. It goes 3-levels down.
Allam was attentive, and knew exactly what we needed when he listened to us.
Food, drinks, and service really are 5-stars.

Absolutely fabulous place to dine. It's one of the best places I've eaten in Italy. The service, atmosphere, and food were phenomenal. Our serve Sujee is a true professional and very attentive. He was quick with service and suggestions and accommodated our large group mix of children and adults very well. There is not one thing that I can say was missed! Don't miss eating at this restaurant if you're in Milan! ❤️❤️🔥❤️

We've searched some place to eat late lunch and came across this restaurant. The interior is very pleasant and you are taken to your place immediately even if there was no reservation. We have been served with complimentary prosecco which was a nice touch while waiting for the food that we ordered. Food was prepared quickly and it was magnificent. We ate ravioli with truffles, dried beef which comes with fried tomatoes and basil second dish was risotto with shrimps and with some extra tomato sauce. Food tasted divine. All the compliments to the chef and rest of the staff which were very nice and pleasant. They also have a huge wine list but as we were rushing to our event we haven't been able to try any of it. All in all Mamma Rosa is worth to be visited if you are in Milan and looking for a quality food for acceptable price

A traditional, upscale restaurant with an appealing menu, excellent staff, and a very pleasant ambiance. A good wine list.
The ossobuco here tastes the way it should in Italy.

There was no racism in the reviews,
and I was initially guided to the basement
and there were only Asian families, so I thought it might be a problem
but seeing other groups and Italian guests being guided
I think there was a misunderstanding in the previous reviews.
The T-bone steak was cooked perfectly
and tasted good.
The Lasotto pasta ravioli was also great
and the service matched it well.
The cost-effectiveness was good
and it's a place I want to go again.

Our meal was really incredible. We previewed the menu online, and went in with a plan.
For our antipasti, we chose oysters on the half shell. They were Fine de Clare No. 2's served with a red wine and shallot mignonette. Sweet in the front with just a little salt to finish. They present the oysters at the table with dry ice for a visually appealing "smoke show." We paired the oysters with a hot Scallops au Gratin, complete with green breadcrumbs. Not a second overdone!
For Primo, we went big and shared the L'Ossobuco Di Vitello in Cremolata E Il Vero Risotto Alla Milanese. This is a staple of Milan cusine, and it was excuted to perfection. We split it, and they did a cool tableside presentation. There's meat was fork tender and loaded with flavor in every bite.
For Secondi, we tried two fishes: the special of the day - Salmon served with pickled/ candied red onion and almond slivers. The salmon was butter and tasted soft on the tongue. The second fish was a traditional grilled branzini with small boiled potatoes and asparagus bites. Seasoned only with a little salt and pepper, they let the nature flavor of the fish shine through.
We finished with two desserts, an apple tort and a pistachio cream. Both were an excellent end to the evening.
Service was flawless. Management has organized a well-oiled machine that works perfectly in synchronization. The place was busy all evening.

Qué experiencia fantástica - principio a fin.
Nuestro camarero Giluiseppe era un verdadero caballero y estaba más que feliz de llevarnos a través del menú y explicar todo.
Bienvenida complementaria Prosecco era una ventaja.
El menú era variado y algo para todos.
La elección del vino y la bodega increíble.
Teníamos mariscos para empezar y luego una mezcla de pastas y milanesa de ternera para el plato principal.
Las porciones son generosas y no tuvimos espacio para el postre.
Sin duda volveremos tan pronto como tuvimos una noche maravillosa.
