Osteria Macafame In Verona

I was there last year when I enjoyed it a lot. Even it was not the same sensation, they have some daily dishes, venetian style leaver, all bit different from.very touristic places.

Excellent food and presentation with a touch of originality, fast and courteous service, normal waiting time... that is, good, it is definitely not the place where you eat a standard tourist menu but a restaurant where you can find dishes and ingredients from the kitchen typical of the area. Price appropriate to what is offered. The only discordant note is the ugly bathroom and that door with transparent glass that opens onto the internal courtyard, putting everything you need and cleaning materials on display. If I were to return to Verona I would definitely go again. Well done!

I was in Verona for a couple of days and this was one of the taverns I tried, if you come give this place a chance, in my opinion you won't be disappointed. I was with my partner a couple of evenings before returning to Milan, the first evening we called to book the place, the second evening we showed up there crossing our fingers because besides being Saturday, we hadn't even booked. However, they found a place for us and for this I can only thank you! The place is nice, not too big and therefore welcoming, the recipe for the Macafame semifreddo is drawn on one of the walls (illustrated to us by one of the waitresses who was really kind and approachable :D) The staff is super friendly and helpful, the food is delicious (guys, try the pastissada de caval because it's really worth it) I left satisfied and satiated like few times before. I really recommend this place because it deserves it! When I return to Verona I won't fail to return to eat the horse stew 😍

Osteria in pieno centro a Verona, pranzo veloce con amici con bambini piccoli, personale gentile, servizio rapido e attento, cibo buono (antipasti, tagliate, guancia…). Da tenere a mente per una prossima volta.

The four of us took a bit of everything: and it was all perfect. The environment is pleasant and hospitable, the staff is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. That seems like more than enough to recommend it. Be careful: the place is small...

Servizio ottimo: personale attento e premuroso. Tagliere di formaggi super. In generale tutti i piatti sono gustosi. Locale che nonostante la posizione centralissima non è per nulla "turistico", anzi rispetta profondamente i sapori della tradizione.

Locale veramente tipico e confortevole. Cucina classica rivisitata in maniera eccezionale. Ottimi prodotti. Personale preparato ed oltremodo gentile. Una perla veronese !

A me è piaciuta molto, in tutto. Ad iniziare dalla disponibilità a farti assaggiare tre diversi bianchi prima di scegliere la bottiglia, risotto al barbaresco veramente ottimo, servizio informale, da osteria, ma davvero professionale, attento, tutto buonissimo, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Fuori dalla logica del ristorante turistico, una bella scoperta. Poi da non sottovalutare la posizione, a pochi passi da Piazza dei Signori...
