What a shame! The food is always excellent, the location has a stunning view, and the service is fast and friendly... but they've raised the prices WAY too high! 25 euros for a plate of tagliolini with seafood (delicious), 10 euros for half a liter of house wine, 8 euros for a tiramisu in a small glass, 7 euros for a small plate of sautéed chicory. Bottom line: for three of us, eating a total of an appetizer, a first course, two second courses, two side dishes, three desserts, half a liter of house wine, a mineral water, and a coffee... 152 euros, or 50 euros each. Madness! The food was very good, but it's no longer the Amedeo vegetable garden it once was. It's still a very good osteria, but with prices of a 4-star restaurant.

L'Orto di Ameste combines a unique location, authentic, carefully prepared food, and excellent service. I'm celiac and vegetarian, and I still had the appetizer, main course, and dessert, all very good. I highly recommend it.

My partner and I have dined at this restaurant twice. I can't say enough good things about it. Excellent food, fast service, and wonderful staff. Special thanks to the owner, Stefano, and the commis, Graziano. The restaurant boasts a stunning sea view, so while dining, you can't help but admire the enchanting landscape. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality.
