Overall, we had a good time; we would have been even better if the kitchen had worked better. I don't want to belittle anyone's work with this comment, but personally, while we enjoyed the meal, we expected more. The wait staff was fantastic. Nothing more to say. A beautiful place.

A few tables with a view of the sassis, otherwise it will be a large rustic room "in its own juice". Very good octopus (€20), less luck with the salad.

The location is extraordinary, with magnificent views of the Sassi of Matera.
The service was fast, very correct, and friendly.
As for the food, it wasn't bad, considering we were a group of 40 people.

It wasn’t the choice for our only night in Matera but the children wanted pizza, and we all wanted a view by tramonto, which was great. Service was friendly but with minor slip-ups, the so eagerly anticipated first Aperol spritz of holidays was served completely tasteless but immediately changed. Pizza and other dishes were fine but not overwhelming. It looks the place needs a nice revamp as the potential is there

We had a delicious meal here.
We had a fantastic starter and a delicious main course. The tiramisu to finish is also highly recommended.
We also received very friendly and attentive service.

Not only do I recommend it, I highly recommend it! I don't know why the reviews are so low. Excellent, smiling service. You can chat and joke around. The food was incredibly quick, even though every table was occupied. The pizza ingredients had a distinct, fresh flavor. The pasta with a sauce that gives life meaning. And that view makes the meal even more delightful. The quintessence of Italian cuisine and hospitality.

A restaurant that's neither praiseworthy nor infamous.
We ate inside, which was uninviting. The waiters were very welcoming, but that's not enough, as the bathrooms were dirty and there were no paper towels to dry your hands. The meatballs didn't live up to expectations; they were rubbery, and for the price, they weren't worth it. The selection of cured meats was very good.
