Happy happy Umbrian happiness
This little place in the tiny town of tuoro is about as classic Umbrian as they come. Good/rustic food, excellent service, and all the classics.
You could really do far far worse….

We spent a week on vacation in the region and ate here twice. The food is fantastic, the service very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance cozy and pleasant. A well-deserved 5 stars!

We had a wonderful evening at Osteria la Pergola.
The restaurant's interior is very attractive, and we received very friendly service. A complimentary aperitif was offered to the entire table at the beginning.
I highly recommend the carp in porchetta; I've probably never eaten such good fish. Served with potatoes and onions on the side, it was the perfect meal.

On our journey, we stopped in Tuoro sul Trasimeno and had the pleasant discovery of this osteria for lunch. The two ladies were very courteous and friendly. The menu features both meat and fish, with a special focus on gluten-free options. The appetizers were delicious, especially the tagliatelle with Chianina beef ragù, and the main courses were also good. A good wine list was also available. Guests were greeted with a glass of Prosecco. The dressing was made with local extra virgin olive oil produced by a company in Vernazzano. If you happen to visit Lake Trasimeno, stop by this osteria, which may be a little hidden but is nevertheless delightful.

In visita a Tuoro ci è stato consigliato questo ristorante intimo nel centro. Abbiamo scelto un l'antipasto di pesce di lago da dividere e a seguire la carpa in porchetta: entrambi buonissimi nonostante io sia stato dubbioso sulla bontà del pesce di lago essendo abituato a quello di mare. Buona scelta di vini e alcolici. Molto gentile la titolare. Da provare.
