During a rainy day visit to Pisa, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff. The cuisine was exceptional, and I regret not having the opportunity to dine there that evening as I had to return to Florence.

This restaurant is recommended by our hotel. It's true that it's difficult to choose from all the restaurants in this area. It's not at all a tourist trap compared to the many establishments on the street. The prices are quite reasonable, and the food is very good. We therefore recommend you head to this establishment.

Just a stone's throw from the Duomo, so in a decidedly touristy area, it's nevertheless a great place to stop and eat some good food.

Had lunch here on the advice of a local. House wine (red and white) was great. Ordered pasta carbonara with truffles-there was probably an inch of ruffles shaved on top-could smell it coming out of the kitchen. The Tuscan tomato porridge was delicious, carbonara and ragù were all great too. The special of white beans in a tomato sauce with sausage was also amazing. Highly recommend.

We discovered this osteria almost by chance during a weekend in Pisa, and it was a great surprise. The menu offers traditional dishes, and the staff is very kind and welcoming. We tried the excellent pici with white ragù, and the meat. Everything was delicious. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try some truly traditional dishes!
