Osteria in domo In Pisa

We had dinner at Osteria in Domo, and we tried the traditional appetizers pappa al pomodoro, meatballs etc., first the Pici with Cinta Senese ragù very tasty a notable traditional dish. Then 2 second courses: the Girello, and the Peposo. We must say that the Peposo was extremely tender and tasty, an exceptional dish very tasty. 4 Stars – Unique Dishes and a Memorable Stop in Pisa We stopped by this restaurant in Pisa because my husband was curious to try the Italian-style meatballs, and they were definitely different from what we’re used to. These were fried and made with shredded beef, offering a unique texture and flavor—worth trying if you’re up for something authentic and a little unexpected. I ordered the potato gnocchi with pesto, which was just okay—not bad, but not particularly memorable either. My husband, however, had the fried lasagna, and he said it was rich, flavorful, and absolutely heavenly. The menu offers some creative takes on Italian classics, and it’s a fun spot if you’re looking to try something beyond the usual pasta dishes. A solid experience overall!

Typical tavern in the heart of Pisa, a stone's throw from the Tower. Authentic and refined Tuscan cuisine: spectacular pici, top cured meats and special pappa al pomodoro! Not to mention the big steak..! A real delight! Courteous service, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and simple and good food. The interior is nice, the exterior too: we are literally 2 minutes from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Recommended

Very close to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, it blends in among the "tourist-catching" restaurants. The place is very welcoming and clean, the dining room staff is very kind and attentive to the customer. The menu includes various options of Tuscan cuisine and also offers the possibility of a menu (starter + first course). Excellent prices

Nel nostro lungo weekend del ponte del 25 aprile a Pisa ci siamo fermati per pranzo in questo ristorante non lontano dalla famosa piazza dei Miracoli. Giornata calda , cielo sereno per cui abbiamo optato per un tavolo all’aperto. Personale gentile 😌 . Menu ampio di cucina toscana / pisana davvero invitante. Abbiamo ordinato una zuppa 🥣 pisana , una trippa alla pisana , tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale 🐗, pici al tartufo nero e besciamella . Tutto davvero squisito 😋. Prezzo nella media . Siamo rimasti così contenti 😌 che ci siamo ritornati anche per il pranzo del giorno dopo per assaggiare il loro menù bistecca 🥩 e la pappa al pomodoro 🍅. Carne spettacolare e pappa al pomodoro gustosa . Consigliatissimo. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Un cena perfetta, con piatti ben eseguiti e appetitosi e la voglia di accontentare il cliente, anche chi vuole una cottura della carne che magari non si usa in toscana. Ottima tagliata, buono flan di cacao e frutti di bosco, vino eccellente. Da rivedere la seduta non comodissima e l'illuminazione che potrebbe essere più studiata e più soffusa.
