Excellent food with a good variety for a trattoria, a welcoming atmosphere, and truly friendly staff. A huge plus: dogs are welcome! A pleasant place to visit and highly recommended.

Exceptional and generous dishes, handmade pasta. I had the tender and flavorful rabbit with fennel, and my friend had the tagliatelle with wild boar, both highly recommended. This restaurant near the historic center has a warm, welcoming, and attentive atmosphere. Fast service. It's worth visiting the beautiful Castelfidardo just to stop here.

Kind and welcoming, they guided us through a wonderful culinary experience. The four of us ordered four different starters, and they all arrived at the same time, each one better than the last. A must-visit place for a lovely evening.

I've only been there for dinner once, but I expected better... and I was very surprised... First of all, the kitchen closes at 9:30 PM... while the website says 10:30 PM. I arrived at that time and the welcome from the waitress wasn't the best... nor were the other waiters... very serious and visibly pissed off... I joined a table of three, and from what I was told, they were rushing them and kept asking when the fourth one would arrive... Absurd... No kindness in serving us, very brusque and dismissive... I ordered the fried cremini to serve as an appetizer and not as a side dish, as a first course (Norcina ravioli) and a second course (rabbit with fennel). The fried cremini were really good, not too sweet, balanced, the ravioli were very hard, they were undercooked (perhaps from the rush they were in to finish the service and clean up the kitchen), the seasoning was average, no praise... moving on to the second course, the rabbit was good, with a good cooking juices. The salad was already dressed with vinegar...too much...so I didn't like it at all...we ordered half a liter of house wine: it seemed anything but Lacrima di Morro d'Alba: it was very tart, cloying, thick on the palate...and served at room temperature, too warm given the season and the temperature.... I'd go back to give it another chance before giving a final review, because maybe the service...wasn't good...it happens to everyone...and on that occasion I'd want to see if, perhaps by booking in advance, they cook the pasta properly and the staff is more professional and welcoming. Finally, the price...just below average, so good... Anyway, for now...I give it a poor 6... Difficulty finding parking, because the place is on the road, and even at that hour I had to leave the car 300 meters away because I couldn't find a spot.

We had lunch at Osteria Il Mattarello during a week in August, and despite this, we still found the place packed, demonstrating the truly exceptional quality and service. If you want to experience truly authentic Marche cuisine, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This osteria was a real discovery. We visited twice during our five-day vacation in Numana. It's like being at home, even at neighboring tables. Pasta with ragù and strozzapreti with sausage and fossa cheese were our favorite first courses. The appetizer with cured meats, cheeses, and Ascoli olives was delicious. Thanks to Vera, who was friendly and professional.

Homemade dishes prepared with love and quality ingredients. The owners are very kind and friendly, and make you feel like a welcome guest. Very fair prices with generous portions. Everything is delicious, but the handmade ravioli (like all the other pasta) are truly unmissable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

10 e lode…. Tipica osteria con arredi semplici ma curati tutto e al posto giusto. Il servizio è impeccabile, genuino e professionale allo stesso tempo. Tagliatelle e ravioli di ottima fattura, il ragù di carne e il sugo con il ciauscolo strepitosi. Prezzo corretto. Consigliatissimo

Ci siamo trovati in famiglia nelle Marche e abbiamo deciso di fermarci in questo posticino: il cibo era buono e offriva una variegata quantità di piatti unici, così come i dolci. La location era accogliente ed i camerieri erano tutti molto simpatici. Se vi doveste fermare a Castelfidardo, fateci un salto (senza dar troppo peso all'apparenza...).
