Osteria il Mattarello In Castelfidardo

We enjoyed their friendly hospitality very much. Food was great with incoming local crowd after 20pm. Pasta tasted homemade, the veal was perfect as we had one medium and another medium rare, was difficult to communicate but it worked out :) Tiramisu was yummy

Trattoria tradizionale a due passi dal centro storico di Castelfidardo. Nella prima saletta a mio parere ci sono due piccoli tavoli di troppo che tengono vicinissimi i clienti, impossibilitati a cenare con un minimo di privacy. Proprio per questo, uno dei gestori, non appena si è liberato un tavolo nella seconda saletta, ci ha traslocati ancora prima di iniziare la cena. Qui meglio molto meglio. Gnocchi all'ortolana; tagliatelle al sugo di cinghiale; coniglio al finocchio; tagliata di pollo. Ottimi piatti, in porzioni generose, di buona qualità. Il bianco della casa non ci è piaciuto e non l'abbiamo consumato. A mio avviso ritengo che qui si possa mangiare senza troppi fronzoli o ricercatezze parigine, ma badando al sodo, con concretezza. Prezzi nella media della ristorazione marchigiana delle vacanze estive. Consigliato proprio a tutti.

On holiday in the Marche we decided to eat at this tavern after reading the reviews. Very kind host and staff, very short waiting times and delicious dishes! We tasted the ravioli alla norcina (wow), the strozzapreti with sausage and fossa cheese (super wow) and the mixed grill! The portions are very generous, the raw materials used are excellent and everything is prepared with care! Unbeatable price quality! Well done!

Excellent local dishes with homemade pasta, homely atmosphere, honest prices.

Helpful and friendly staff, very good fresh pasta, both gnocchi and tagliatelle. I recommend the Paccaconero. The sausage and cheese gnocchi are also good. Abundant grilled food. Excellent red in carafe. Excellent culinary experience, to be repeated.

Beautiful food, great quality, a local hotspot for people wanting an authentic feel whilst enjoying great fresh pasta. I would eat here every night if I could.

Relaxing, familiar and well-kept environment, easily accessible but highly recommended tavern, we ate excellent first courses, appetizers made with truly delicious local cured meats. Really go to Mattarello in Castelfidardo if you want to taste truly delicious food

Truly rustic tavern. My wife and I stopped for dinner as we were staying at the Note di Copper suites. A simple but welcoming place, we were welcomed very well and enjoyed some excellent homemade food from the Marche region. If you want some advice, try the first courses, handmade pasta and they are truly phenomenal.
