We were passing through Scarlino. Among the narrow streets of the village, this little osteria intrigued us. The owner, David, was incredibly kind and seated us even though it was only 10 minutes before opening. Once inside, we felt right at home. Since he runs the restaurant and his mother runs the kitchen, the menu is limited, and rightly so. The meat is excellent. The local wines are also very good, and you can even buy them directly there.
In short, a highly recommended place; everything is perfect.
We need more places like this!

Highly recommended! Everything is truly excellent, with a few simple but delicious dishes. The crostini are a must, but the tortelli with ragù are truly spectacular! Congratulations!
I recommend booking because there aren't many seats.

Delicious food: crostini, ham and cheese platter, pasta, steak, and dessert with mascarpone, ricotta, and jam. You can try all sorts of wines by the glass. And the owner is very friendly. I hope to see you again soon. Thanks!

A small, very quiet osteria in the historic center. The dishes are limited, but truly excellent, as a true osteria should be. The food is excellent, the wild boar delicious, and we loved the local wine. The owner is a fantastic person, able to explain the dishes and wines without overdoing it and with great cordiality. Excellent value for money. He even welcomed us with our two medium-large greyhounds, finding a quiet corner for them. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time; the dishes were generous and delicious. There's not much choice on the menu, but the dishes are wonderfully prepared.
Furthermore, the server was attentive and offered excellent advice for us, who were just passing through Scarlino! He did his best to explain the menu to us in English. It's clear he's passionate about his work, and it's a pleasure to see.
I highly recommend this typical and pleasant restaurant, where you feel warmly welcomed.
