Everything was top-notch. We spent a weekend in Pavia and booked a table at this osteria, which is actually a top-notch restaurant. The price was good for the quality of the food and service. If it were near me, I'd go there every time I had a special occasion.

In my opinion, the photos speak for themselves!! Original pairings, local products, and impeccable presentation: winning features for a restaurant that wants to make a difference! Also a plus is the truly kind and customer-focused wait staff! My first time in Pavia, and I truly discovered a truly amazing osteria!! Congratulations!!

Quality dishes, plated with captivating elegance. The platter of cured meats and pickled vegetables is delightful, the tortelli with honey, pears, and pecorino cheese are excellent, the duck leg with foie gras and caramelized onions is also good, as is the beef tenderloin, all accompanied by a decent Barbera. The Goi chocolate cake is very delicious. The service is accurate and prompt, but somewhat cold. The atmosphere evokes an old-fashioned tavern, though perhaps with a somewhat unsavory bric-a-brac feel.

01/05/2026: Delicious first and second courses, including cold cuts and appetizers. The staff is always smiling and very kind. Well done!
17/04/2026: We turned to Granai Certosa for our wedding reception and found the owners and staff to be competent, professional, high-quality, friendly, and intelligent. The food was truly excellent, and the venue was stunning. We had over 200 guests, and the owners accommodated all our requests and those of our friends who organized the party. Highly recommended.

La Salmoneria

21/05/2026: I agree with everything the other reviews have said. It's a small, intimate, family-run restaurant. The chef presents the menu and then goes inside to cook the freshest, highest-quality food, served in fusion and unique dishes. Very good!
19/04/2026: We stumbled upon it almost by chance, drawn by the good reviews, and we can only confirm. The place is small, well-maintained, and entirely run by Stefano (an incredible guy), who offers his own specialties, catering to your every need (all delicious). For those seeking an experience a little out of the ordinary, this is a must-visit; we'll definitely be back!
