End-of-vacation dinner.
The restaurant was recommended by our hosts, and we weren't disappointed. It's not a tourist trap. Many locals eat here.
We chose the risotto in two versions, naturally, since Pavia is located in the leading risotto rice producing region. I opted for the beetroot risotto, and my husband chose the sausage risotto. It was delicious. The wine pairing was perfect. The service was very pleasant.
Expect to pay around €30 per person for a bottle of water, a glass of wine, a main course, and a dessert to share between two.
The restroom door has a motion sensor. Once you've washed your hands, you don't have to touch the handle. I love it!
We will definitely return to try the other dishes.

The food was okay, but it didn't meet our expectations given the price. The restaurant gives the impression of offering a gourmet experience, but in terms of quality, it was more like an average restaurant.
The service was particularly disappointing. The staff seemed very arrogant and treated us condescendingly, making us feel unwelcome. Especially at this price point, we expect not only good food but also friendly and respectful service.
Unfortunately, for us, the price-performance ratio is not right.

Amazing primo and secundo. Primo was a ravioli with duck filling, sage butter and more. Secundo was cod mousse. Super rich flavour, balanced plate. Good portions, amazing service. Will come back!

Second time at this restaurant, this time to celebrate my birthday with friends, and it was a sure thing. Excellent cuisine, with unique dishes and top-quality ingredients. The staff is young, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Kudos to the way the evening was handled: at dessert time, they surprised me with a candle, a chocolate Happy Birthday, and a complimentary souvenir Polaroid photo. Customer service is not to be taken for granted. Definitely commendable.

We had dinner as a couple, ordering the two risottos on the menu. Perhaps we had high expectations, but honestly, I wouldn't eat these dishes again. The atmosphere was very nice, the service very attentive, indeed, too attentive.
Welcoming and authentic. Excellent food and good service.

A true gem. It could be the ideal place for your special dinner. The kind waiters expertly guide you through the pairings and help you enjoy your dinner to the fullest.
