After the obligatory taste of fried pizza and tortelli, we wanted to dine at a less usual restaurant. La Gatta Matta is a very charming and welcoming place. The beautiful menu intro takes diners by the hand and leads them into the concept of gastronomy conceived by this young Apulian couple: heart and flavor. And this love, infused into their dishes, is immediately evident in the colors on the plate and the balance of flavors. The tender mugnoli, along with the pomegranate and Cappelli semolina pasta, stunned me. The ingredients are excellent, and even the chef-made bread is a delicious discovery. We truly enjoyed our stay; should we ever return to Parma, La Gatta Matta will be our first choice.

Eating here is, first and foremost, an experience. The owner explains each course in detail and guides you through the selection of dishes, each with its own twist. The starters and main courses are excellent, and the service is excellent. The desserts are imaginative. Everything is meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail. Prices are average.

The perfect dinner
The restaurant is very tastefully decorated, and the service is very friendly. All dishes are explained in detail. You can feel the passion for excellent cuisine. There are no standard dishes here, but rather very creative combinations that result in multiple flavor explosions and are also beautifully presented. There are also vegetarian and vegan options.
