We had a good time, shame about the final surprise, over €110 for a work break lunch (three of us). Usually we had been there before and, in any case, for the same service we would have spent at least half as much, they probably removed the availability of the working lunch! Sin! I don't recommend it for a work break lunch!!!

Wonderful place! Great ambiance, fantastic food (at good prices), great wine selection, lovely and helpful staff. Our waitress was knowledgeable and kind. Recommended: the bread (!!), Bonarda red wine, risotto with saffron and ossobuco, tagliolini with truffle, and any pasta dish. Also try the passito wines. Absolutely recommended, we will be back!

Locale ben curato e servizio puntuale e gentile. Menù di buon livello, salumi tradizionali molto buoni e stinco d’agnello morbido e saporito. Risotto salsiccia e bonarda buono ma leggermente indietro di cottura per i miei gusti. Unica pecca: un po’ eccessiva l’attesa della prima portata, poi meglio.

27/08/2024: Authentic Piemontese food in a traditional setting. The restaurant is across the river in an area not often visited by tourists. If you are looking for the foods the locals eat, this is the place for you. We visited with a friend who has been eating here regularly since he was a student at the university in the 1970’s and not much has changed. We enjoyed house made pasta, the Grilled Lamb, and Pork with peaches. And all went well with a locale red wine, a Bonarda. Great Food. Great Value. Traditional setting.
23/07/2024: Truly characteristic location, it reflects the old Ticino village, refined dishes, with great attention to detail and above all very exquisite. Friendly and kind welcome. Prices normal. We highly recommend it and we will definitely be back. Joseph
