Cozy place and excellent service!!!

We are from Parma, and we stumbled upon this little place in the center of Pontremoli by chance. Very cute and characteristic, I would even say very familiar as an environment. Young guys with a desire to do and grow in every sense, especially in the kitchen. Hats off... They remind me of my youth among those hot walls full of sweat and tension... Anyway we ate a very good and tender cut, and a delicate and abundant tartare, all presented very well. The desserts were a tiramisu and some cantucci with vin santo, in youth parlance they were to be flown away (fabulously good) including the vin santo. Water, wine, two coffees and a barricaded grappa. Maybe I spent a little more than other places, but I don't want to make an issue of it, these guys deserved them and also the place in the historic center. The only "reprimand" but I'm sure they will improve is the slowness of the service, otherwise come on guys!!!

Finally a simple yet genuine place to try real Pontremoli cuisine. If you like strong flavors and elaborate dishes, perhaps it is not the most suitable place, but if you want to rediscover the taste of simple and excellent raw materials then it is worth trying. Excellent cheeses, excellent testaroli with pesto, mixed salad and stuffed cabbage to make your head spin, as well as an excellent Cabernet with an excellent balance. Have I said excellent too many times? Maybe, but really try it

Let's say that for two appetizers and two stuffed cabbages, a house glass and two somewhat skimpy tiramisu which alone cost 14 euros, having spent 80 euros seemed a bit excessive...

The food is good but the prices need to be reviewed. 70 euros for a lunch for 2 seems too much to me. Maybe a few more lights in the room, which is too dark

We had a so delicious meal at this out of the way restaurant. Stopped there after touring the castle. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!

Really nice place. Small and intimate. The menu includes few dishes, but in my opinion the right ones. Both the testaroli and the fettuccine alla norcina are truly excellent. Just a shame about the portions being a little small...but still highly recommended

The restaurant is located in the historic center of Pontremoli. The restaurant has a few tables in a quiet and characteristic environment. You eat under a stone vault. The staff are friendly but the times today were exaggerated. They apologized and for which I understand them but sitting at 1.10pm we gave instructions on the choices to the 15 we saw two first courses at 1.40pm while the other two first courses we waited another 15 minutes. They ask us if we want dessert, we say yes. They don't take reservations and then show up 15 minutes later and so to avoid taking too long we ask for two coffees which arrive after 10 minutes.
