Small but nice place typical of a village
Good food but really small portions considering the price.
Overall a fairly expensive restaurant for what it offers.

Stunning and characteristic place in the center of Pontremoli...exquisite high quality cured meats...I tasted the truffle sausage tagliolini...very good...genuine cuisine and despite the large turnout...good service...congratulations

Restaurant in an evocative and very characteristic setting, with traditional local recipes; Unfortunately, although the dishes are very genuine and decidedly artisanal, the cost is quite high and the quantities are not very abundant.
Furthermore, even if the service in the room is very kind and helpful, it is not very organised: for example I discovered that there were dishes off the menu only when I was paying the bill hearing it from a waitress who was listing it at a table who had just arrived; even for the choice of beer, I discovered only after finishing it that multiple choices were possible.
Overall though, it's a place that I didn't mind.

I was for dinner during the "medievalis" festival, this certainly affected the service which was very slow, given the many customers. The space available in the restaurant is rather small when all the tables are occupied.
However, the environment is nice, with thick walls and medieval-style barrel arches, a bit like the rest of the city.
As for the food, I had a chard pie as a starter, which was good, and as a main course a sliced beef with potatoes as a side dish. The meat was cooked perfectly and was really, really good.
As for the price, it is in my opinion a little high when compared to the portions. In general I would recommend it, but if you arrive on a day with few tourists and where the staff can work at the right pace.

We ended up there by chance for a reunion with friends. The place is beautiful and characteristic, the food is perfect, typical dishes with some touches such as testaroli cacio e pepe and honest prices. The staff work happily and the owner is a sociable person who loves her job. Go and eat and you won't regret it

Trattoria with exquisite dishes, the service is fast and the waiters are very kind. Absolutely a place to try if you pass through Pontremoli
