Randomly chosen for an impromptu lunch, I am pleasantly surprised by this osteria which opens like a precious treasure chest in an alley in the historic center of Imola.
Welcomed into a warm traditional environment with a few touches of modernity that integrates well within the ancient walls, I find a menu where it is difficult to choose because everything deserves to be tasted!
Top-notch ingredients and truly engaging flavours.
Well-stocked cellar, perfect service, very kind staff and prices in relation to the quality.
It was a real pleasure, I will return!

Good, quality food. I particularly appreciated the selection of cheeses and honey. The meat, both raw and cooked, is also very good.

What can I say, I had already been here several years ago and I really liked it, I am pleased to note that the quality has been maintained very high, from the menu to the service.
The proposals are innovative but with a reference to tradition, and each dish has its own soul (I would recommend the crepes with artichokes, which are special!)
But the real surprise was this: I have a vegan friend, used to being satisfied with unseasoned vegetables and pasta with tomato sauce, but at Vicolo they were very ready to make an appetizer on the menu vegan, and as the main course they brought her chickpea farinata (which was delicious) and some delicious vegetables as a side dish.

A restaurant located in a street in the center of Imola.
The interior is rustic and welcoming and the staff was helpful and kind.
The courses were excellent, dessert included, and the portions were just the right size with an excellent quality/price ratio.
I will definitely go back next time I pass through Imola!

My husband and I had dinner last night, a delightful place, a refined but at the same time "easygoing" and welcoming atmosphere; traditional cuisine of the highest quality, very refined and genuine, very kind and knowledgeable staff, absolutely honest prices, we spent a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!!!

From appetizers to desserts, it is definitely worth a visit. For my tastes, the passatelli with truffle and the duck with orange and certainly also the desserts, which are very good, in fact I'm pondering when to go back.
