We visited for the first time during the week and enjoyed a delicious set menu. The service was very friendly and attentive. Since everything was so great, we returned for another meal on the weekend. We were able to sit outside in the shade. The dishes from the à la carte menu are fantastic. The service was once again very friendly.

A wonderful experience at this restaurant! We came as a family with our little girl and were welcomed with great kindness and warmth. The staff are truly friendly, smiling, and attentive, which made our meal even more enjoyable. As for the food, we have absolutely no complaints; the dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. We all ate very well and had a fantastic time. A big thank you to the entire team for this warm welcome. It's the kind of place you'll be happy to return to and that we wholeheartedly recommend.

Discovered by chance and left delighted. A truly excellent selection of dishes at attractive prices. Add to that very efficient and incredibly friendly service that leaves nothing to be desired. Aside from the noise level, which is typical for the region, this restaurant is absolutely recommendable. We were thrilled. - Update: We visited again this year (2026). Everything was as before: food and service were top-notch.

A great revelation. The menu offers just the right number of excellent quality options, and the staff is courteous and professional. There's plenty of space between tables, and you can eat outside. Last but not least, there's a large private parking lot.

For this gastronomic investigation, Watson and I are in Briga Novarese, and the subject of our investigation is the Mottarone restaurant. After booking through Google, we arrive about 20 minutes early and, finding the restaurant open, we ask to be seated despite the time not yet being our reservation. We are granted a seat, and we take this courtesy as a plus for our investigation: not all restaurateurs are so generous! The staff, mostly female, is very young, but knowledgeable and courteous. We are provided with the menu and wine list: we decide on a cabbage and pikeperch roll, a surprising combination. We skip the first course and order a mixed fry, which adds tempura vegetables to the standard squid, shrimp, and calamari. We finish with two different desserts: Watson gets a tarte tatin, and I a sort of meringue with berries. We washed down our dinner with a bottle of Franciacorta Zero Spaccato and a bottle of mineral water, and finished it off with two complimentary coffees. We spent €63 each, with the bubbles alone costing us €36.
