Osteria del Teatro In Imola

We had lunch at this restaurant some time ago after finding it while browsing online 🧑🏻‍💻. It is accessed through a small door 🚪 that leads to the lower floor, where the actual restaurant is located. Osteria del Teatro 🎭, in fact, presents itself as a delightful little cellar, completely renovated with taste and attention to detail. The atmosphere is intimate and very welcoming. The staff 🧑🏻👩🏻 are all very young (a nice thing), extremely polite and professional. As soon as we arrived, we were kindly greeted by the owner 🧔🏻 who showed us to a seat. Shortly thereafter, one of the waiters showed up at our table and asked if we would like an aperitif 🍸 before lunch (we declined as we are not used to drinking on an empty stomach, but we greatly appreciated this gesture of courtesy and welcome). We opted for a platter of pancetta 🥓, coppa, and squacquerone, a portion of Angus carpaccio, and a plate of Francescane with truffle and Taleggio 🧀. Everything was truly delicious 😋, but beyond that, what struck me was the full-bodied flavors, a clear sign of the quality and freshness of the ingredients used 👌. Good value for money (45 euros 💶 in total, including cover charge 🍽, water 💧, and two coffees ☕). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍, because I believe treating yourself to a good lunch in a quality establishment is always a satisfying experience. Italian excellence where locals and tourists alike feel at ease and enjoy an enchanting atmosphere and exquisite food. A wonderful place where time stands still for a moment, and, especially in the interior, you feel like you're back in time, amidst the history-filled walls and medieval setting. Charming.

A very unique atmosphere, underground, with old brick walls and a large wooden bookcase housing wines and other items, a truly special place. It's a shame about the strong, musty smell, which also affects the tasting experience; I hope it was due to an unlucky day. The cacio e pepe was good, but not special; I expected better from the service and ambience.

We had dinner at this restaurant towards the end of July. The location is beautiful; we ate outside, but the interior is also very beautiful and original. We had two menus, one fish and one meat, both very good. The wine was also excellent, and the service was impeccable. We will be back. The prices are reasonable. Some tourists may be surprised by the portions, which in Italy are generally a little smaller than in other countries, but I think the quality-price ratio is good. I recommend it.

Great service and wine recommendations. Just unbelievable food – the antipasti, second courses and especially the pastas. The best restaurant experience I've ever had. A very nice location in the old town side alleyway, still being cozy and intimate.

We had a wonderful time in Osteria after the GP! The food was really great and the Amerone wine was terrific👌 The atmosphere was amazing. Best restaurant in Imola in my opinion. Thank you for your kindness in sending my lost cap to my home, I appreciate it a lot.

compared to the last time I was there it went down a lot. then I ate the meatballs, quite anonymous, and everything that arrived to me unfortunately also cold. In the end the price, 60€ per person was not adequate for how much we ate and the courses. The location remains beautiful and the service is kind.

An unforgettable experience! The place is welcoming, with attention to detail and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The menu is a true celebration of Emilian cuisine, with traditional dishes revisited with creativity and respect for the raw materials. In particular, I highly recommend cappellacci al brasanto and the Entrecote. The service is impeccable: friendly staff, prepared to recommend the perfect wine to pair. I will definitely be back!
