A quiet place with a very interesting menu. I tasted the stratospheric Colonnata lard with warm focaccia and a truly special rabbit. Highly recommended!

Super helpful, they even opened early especially for us who were in a hurry... typical place respects the real tavern but the shocking thing was the second course, excellent meat, top cooking, very tender, recommended

Osteria del Monsignore is a restaurant located in the center of Sarzana. I had the opportunity to have lunch there with a group of friends just before Christmas. The restaurant isn't very large, but inside you'll find a cozy atmosphere. The menu focuses on traditional Lunigiana dishes—nothing elaborate, but certainly appetizing. The quality is very good, as is the courteous and prompt service. There's a wide selection of wines. The price is average.

In a typical Sarzana street, a welcoming place with brick vaults, you're greeted by a lady with a foreign accent, quick and efficient. The bread basket was very good, with three varieties, as well as focaccia. For wine, a half bottle of Chianti. The round steak as an appetizer was excellent, as were the grilled fillet and the partially boned pigeon, both accompanied by vegetables and baked potatoes. The meat was excellent and well-cooked.

20/02/2026: I'm stealing a friend's account because mine won't let me do it, anyway: today I had a business lunch here and found it very good, nice atmosphere, she's kind, fast and good at cooking very good mussel gnocchi and for the second course an omelette with cheese and ham made to perfection as it should be done, cooked just right with the heart. Tending towards raw. . Well done 💪🏻
29/12/2025: Wonderful experience. Characteristic place. Excellent welcome. Delicious food. Cleanliness, hygiene, and friendliness. The owner was able to satisfy our tastes by recommending some special dishes...delicious. I would give it a 10 out of 10.

13/07/2025: We went to the restaurant, not the hotel. But if the hotel is only 80% as professional as the restaurant, i would go there. Nice people, competent and well organised.
