Nice place, very kind people, they managed to make us have dinner, we couldn't find a place to have dinner anywhere else in the area

Obligatory premise: the writer is 180 cm tall and weighs 120 kg and has no allergies other than fasting... so I speak from full knowledge of the facts.... An apparently anonymous restaurant from the outside it appears very similar to many restaurants in the area where typical local cuisine is offered, sometimes good and sometimes less so, but entering Bottaccione opens up a different world. Inside there is a small but extremely welcoming place, few frills but a lot of substance. The service is excellent and the cuisine is nothing short of amazing, I'm certainly not going to recommend particular dishes because the menu is constantly changing and tastes are extremely subjective but what we ate... and we ate a lot.... it was all delicious from the appetizers to the wine in the carafe... upon leaving I couldn't help but hug and thank the lady in the kitchen. Last surprise, the truly competitive price alone makes it worth driving a few extra kilometers.

This place is a guarantee of satisfaction for the palate, the small menu allows their customers to enjoy dishes that clearly convey the freshness of the ingredients and their creation by hand, all at an honest price. I repeat myself but, Rosita is a guarantee and the ladies are very kind.

A little place exactly as we were looking for: not too formal, where you could eat well, a lot and spend the right amount. For the first time I said everything in 3 lines. I have to go back!

Family-run restaurant, welcoming, rustic and well-kept environment. Very kind staff, special mention to Debora who takes care of customers promptly and attentively. Traditional dishes from Gubbio. I tried tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles, friccò and a sort of baked vegetable caponata. Everything was excellent, fast service and very low costs. Highly recommended.

Siam stai in questo locale perché consigliatoci dal proprietario del B&B dove alloggiavamo. Purtroppo non avevamo chiamato per prenotare ma abbiamo rischiato lo stesso. Siam stati fortunati che senza problemi il personale ci ha fatto sedere. Il locale è carino e poco fuori Gubbio. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto e un primo ma erano abbondanti soprattutto i primi e infine come dolce i tozzetti con vin santo davvero gustosi. Personale davvero gentilissimo! Prezzi nella media! Da ritornarci!
