Very nice place. We had dinner in the little alley and the Service and Staff was great. The Food was all good, we had some Pizza, Cozze and Salad. We also had the famous primitivo red Wine and just loved it. We can recommend this place.

Passed by for lunch on sunday. I don't know why but on that day they didnt offer full service. We had to choose from limited, and verbally informed menu. I was a bit skeptical but the orchiettti we got served was simple yet really flavourful and tasty. Price was great too.

I like the restaurant, it's a true Italian restaurant. I live in Manduria. Giuseppe is a good person, and very kind, thank you very much. I had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the Mercanti first appetizer. The house rosé wine was good.

For work or pleasure, I often go out for lunch. In a city I'm unfamiliar with, we ate at this wonderful restaurant. Simona's courtesy and the quality of the food make this a favorite. Enjoy your meal, everyone.

We had two wonderful evenings there: delicious food, delicious wine, and excellent value for money. Beautifully located in the old town, with very friendly, English-speaking service!

This is the second year I'm returning to this restaurant. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent. The appetizer, first course, and second course are all delicious. The cuisine is typical of the area. Without spending a fortune along the Salento coast, I recommend this restaurant. My only suggestion is to have a slightly more varied selection for the children's menu.

16/09/2025: It was a very, very pleasant experience. The food was excellent, Apulian cuisine with some gourmet touches. The service was top-notch.
31/08/2025: I was torn between three and four stars. The food is good, the pizza too, but not good enough to justify the prices. A decent ortolana, essentially a Margherita with a few poorly grilled vegetables, isn't worth ten euros. Five euros for a portion of good fries is 30 percent more than I pay in similar places. The tart was excellent, the tiramisu was good but with a frozen base, and here comes the worst flaw: generally sloppy service, disorganized, and embarrassing wait times, especially if the place claims to be upscale. For now, the only thing that's moderately high is the price.
