Perfect experience! I went alone, received excellent service, the pasta was impeccable, as was the tiramisu! I highly recommend it.

On the recommendation of a friend from Rome, we booked here for dinner last Friday, and it exceeded all expectations. Typical Roman cuisine, perfect and authentic. The gentleman who served us was extremely kind and helpful, clearly explaining dishes we weren't familiar with and offering excellent suggestions, which we fully trusted. We tried the carbonara, saltimbocca alla romana, and involtini della nonna—all truly excellent. The homemade desserts are also worth a mention, worthy of the rest of the menu. We'll definitely be back here on our next visit to the city!

Reserved a table (happy we did as it was busy). We were there this past weekend and it was perfect. Pasta was excellent, with plenty of flavour. I'm Italian so feel I'm quite qualified to comment on the quality of pasta! This is a typical local trattoria, nothing fancy, but real Italian. if you want local, decent price and great food then choose this place. we were so well looked after by Mattia who also spoke english that was good for my english friends. I love this place: it's not too crowded, not too empty, not too noisy; the prices are great and very fair, the food is tasty, and the atmosphere is really pleasant. I'll definitely be back!!!

The food was good, but the experience with the bill was quite confusing. At first, we were given a very unclear handwritten receipt, and when we asked for an explanation, they brought us a second one that was supposed to be “more detailed,” but it was still difficult to understand. There were unclear charges, amounts that didn’t seem to add up properly, and overall it felt like the bill had been calculated quite randomly. What made it even stranger was that we were explicitly told that if we paid by card, the total would be €158, but if we paid in cash, it would be €150. That left a very bad impression, as it felt like the “discount” for cash payment was not really transparent or properly justified. Honestly, it would have been much better to receive a proper printed bill instead of a handwritten one, with everything clearly itemized and easy to understand. In the end, it’s not really about the money difference, but about the lack of clarity and professionalism. When you go out for a meal, you expect a properly explained bill, not having to reconstruct it afterwards like a puzzle.

Excellent little neighborhood restaurant, very few tourists here and guaranteed authenticity. The pasta and polpette were excellent. Friendly service. I recommend it!
