Another one of those unpretentious osteria outside of the tourist hotspots that serves tasty affordable food with friendly service. The fritto Misto was one of the best I’ve tried. The place was filled with locals on their lunch break. The wine was lovely and I was given a free panna cotta. If you are in the area check this place out.

There are no lunch sets available during the off-season, but ordering à la carte is still quite affordable.
The owner doesn't speak much English but is very friendly.
Seafood salad - ordinary but with lots of ingredients.
Seafood tomato fettuccine - lots of ingredients and delicious.
Squid ink pasta - delicious and flavorful, but a plate of it alone is too rich.
Seafood risotto - amazing flavor, lots of ingredients, almost like congee, haha, highly recommended! 👍🏻
The noodle portions are all very large, very filling.
The pizza is ordinary, but the fries are crispy and delicious.
After eating, they serve a tangy, creamy lemon smoothie, which is great and refreshing.

The vegetable soup was wonderfully hot, velvety, and melted in your mouth. The turbot baked with vegetables was so tender that it's hard to imagine how delicious fish could be—you have to try it. Finished with limoncello, light as a cloud. And a wonderful white wine. All served elegantly, with the owner's kindness. A pleasant atmosphere. A unique place.

We stopped here on our way home, for a bowl of reasonably priced pasta and a glass of wine. Quick, efficient and tasty. It was just what we were looking for!

This osteria was a lovely discovery. The food is high-quality and the flavors are typical of local cuisine. Spaghetti with squid ink is exceptional. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking to eat well after a lovely stroll through Venice.

Excellent food & friendly efficient service. Definitely a nice place for lunch when in Venice as its across the grand canal in the Dorsoduro sector, so its not too crowded.

Excellent service, Roberto is an extremely pleasant person with all tourists, no matter the language, he attends to you. Very good food, generous and tasty portions. Right next to the canal.
