I stumbled upon this place by accident during my first trip to Venice in 2018, as it was close to where I was staying. I returned seven years later because I couldn’t forget the experience—and it was just as amazing as the first time. Now, after four trips to Venice, it’s still the best place for food. The Spaghetti Aglio e Olio with scampi tartare is simply outstanding, and the paired wine is perfectly chosen. I wish I could give it an extra star!

Wonderful food and authentic, attentive service in a positively quirky eatery that's mostly frequented by the neighborhood's residents, so a bit of restraint as a tourist is recommended. From a culinary point of view, what is relevant in detail is that the operators have Ligurian roots and so there is not only Venetian cuisine but also, of course, the equally famous Genoese cuisine.

A place off the usual tourist routes, very pleasant. Traditional cuisine but with an eye to innovation and with some Ligurian dishes. We ate well, fast and courteous service. Correct bill. We hope to return

Siamo tornati e non siamo rimasti delusi . L’ambiente è informale (di osteria si tratta) ma l’offerta delle pietanze è eccellente. Uno dei tranci di ombrina più buoni che abbia assaggiato. Bravi!
