The first time is always a mystery. The osteria surprised me. A location with a unique and characteristic view. Extremely kind staff, perfectly organized. Rich, well-prepared, and delicious dishes. Top-notch raw materials. I will definitely return next time. I can't comment on the service at Locanda.

On our return from vacation, we chose this inn for dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast. The location is stunning, a beautiful area in the hills. The property is beautiful, the dinner superb, the breakfast with a wide selection, the rooms beautiful and clean, the staff extremely kind, helpful, and smiling. We can sum it all up in one word: WONDERFUL. We sincerely hope to have another opportunity to return.

Guaranteed. It's a fact that it's one of the best osterias in the area, if not the best in Castello. And if Ale is in the kitchen, we're perfect; you can even order blindfolded. For those who enjoy fine drinks, I recommend their excellent champagne.

Sulla strada verso la frazione Liano, comune di Castel San Pietro Terme sulle prime colline ad Est del Paesone con le due torri, si trova l'osteria da Cesare. La comitiva dei soliti noti ha ben apprezzato questo locale: tavola apparecchiata con decoro ed attenzione, menù cartaceo a dimensione limitata (talvolta consegnano tomi da Enciclopedia Treccani), veranda aperta a godere la brezza di primavera in giornata di sole. Si presentano ragazzi in gamba per il servizio, rapidi, cortesi e preparati. Le proposte della cucina riprendono la tradizione con alternative interessanti per cui primi piatti, secondi e contorni contengono variazioni con evidente volontà di innovazione. Pertanto ecco le tagliatelle all'ortica, il maiale rustico, la provola, gli asparagi, i carciofini, la crema fritta, la polenta ed altro ancora secondo ricette semplici e gustose che desiderano proporre novità rispetto alla consueta, e comunque ottima, cucina tradizionale che il locale offre. Abbondante scelta dei dessert per tutti i gusti, tranne i nostri in quanto avevamo già raggiunto il limite calorico consentito dall'età. Cantina in onore dei produttori locali ed alcune etichette venete e trentine. Conto equilibrato senza sorprese. Vivamente consigliata la prenotazione soprattutto in prospettiva festiva. Non solo la "pappa": partecipa alla beatitudine la soave bellezza del curatissimo paesaggio collinare circostante l'osteria da Cesare.
