A truly beautiful place, on the first hills of Bologna. Excellent dishes prepared with care and excellent and courteous service.

Osteria da Cesare is a magnificent place. I highly recommend going there especially in the summer as they make you eat outside and see the hills it's a unique emotion. Inside the restaurant you feel at home, it's a warm place in the sense that it makes you feel at home comfortable as soon as you enter, it is a place with attention to the smallest details. The food is of a VERY high quality, the first courses are fabulous, the appetizer that is the platter with the cold cuts also, there is a really high quality raw ham and bacon, the only thing that unfortunately I didn't particularly like is that the mixed meat grill that I had a few days ago at the end of December 2024 is small despite the fact that the quality of the meat was TOP in the sense that you can taste all the flavors on the palate I highly recommend this place.

Nice rustic place. Good quality food, although portions are small. In short, don't go there if you're so hungry, or order multiple courses.

Good first courses, excellent and plentiful meat (fillet). Mistake on the side dishes promptly remedied with apologies.

Informal and homely environment, the restaurant is located on the hills, in a predominant and panoramic position. Ample parking. Attentive, kind and helpful staff. Excellent dishes, linked to the tradition of the area. Good quality/price ratio. You need to book in advance. We were very happy.

Excellent location, in the green hills of Castel San Pietro Terme. The food is genuine and the dishes have a wide choice, from tagliatelle to tortelloni, rabbit and piadine, all delicious. We will definitely be back!!

Il posto è molto carino e accogliente , personale gentilissimo piatti tipici della cucina Emiliana . Devo dire che ho mangiato veramente molto molto bene . Caratteristici gli zuccherini imbevuti nell alcol agli aromi che ti presentano e ti offrono come assaggio alla fine . Consigliatissimo

The evaluation concerns the restaurant only. The location is excellent, on the hill overlooking Castel San Pietro and the Sillaro valley. You can enjoy a wonderful view and, in summer, an excellent climate. The cuisine is typical of the area, this border area between Emilia and Romagna: grilled meat, mutton, piadine and crescentine, fried cream, homemade pasta and much more. The wine list is also very good, where the proximity to the Cesari winery makes itself felt. The choice to link the crescentine to the starters and the piadina to the main courses is interesting. The crescentine are excellent, not greasy and tasty, as are the remaining fried foods. The potato pie with grilled mortadella is interesting. The fillet is excellent, tender and well cooked, the mutton is good. The dessert is interesting. Very efficient, precise and fast service.
