Very nice restaurant in the heart of the historic center. Very good food, always of good quality. Excellent wine shop with fine wines. I recommend the steak, but all dishes are excellent.

Good tavern, delicious food and around 200 labels of wine, the price is right. The tavern is located in the center of the town in the restricted traffic zone, but about 450 meters away there is free parking. It's a typical Tuscan place, I will definitely return.

We highly recommend this place. We came to this restaurant based on good reviews and we were not disappointed. We ordered starters, main course and dessert. Everything was fresh and very aromatic. We will definitely come back to this place.

Unfortunately the steak is not a Florentine as the waiter stated, the entire fillet part was missing and it had no flavour. I also have several doubts about the weight (see photo), declared 1.4kg (after I asked) but without a receipt which is usually given to the customer with the exact weight when paying for a Florentine steak per kg.

I wanted to have an excuse to say that Italian food is at the level of the Spanish food I enjoy when I often visit Spain. Well, finally this restaurant showed me the wonders of real, home-made, local and organic Italian food. Amazing, fantastic and bravo. I enjoyed every bit of it! The carpaccio with truffle was incredible, so much flavor, so well executed. The carbonara with seppia tagliatelle, the pâté with hassle nuts and honey, tartar with truffle (fresh tartuffo), and the meat was incredibly flavorful and tender. For dessert, I had the best tiramisu I had in my trips to Italy, one out of many, the best. This place is in a small village in Tuscany, closed to Florence, a wonderful treat during our stat at Castello di Cafaggio.

Restaurant where you can find the classics of Tuscan cuisine revisited without being distorted. A beautiful environment, very clean and well-kept and a friendly welcome. Quality raw materials and nice portions. I liked the idea of ​​the revisited tiramisu, for now I've tried the one with canticci and vinsanto, excellent! Now I'll have to try the others too.... Friendly and familiar welcome. Excellent quality raw materials. Original dishes respecting the territory. Large and excellent wine list, and rich choice of wines by the glass. Nice atmosphere, which has not distorted that of the old and historic Caffè del Popolano. Excellent value for money. Just one observation: the lampredotto peppered is an interesting offering: the tripe is natural according to tradition, but the pepper doesn't add enough flavour. Why not offer the customer who wants it the possibility of adding a classic sauce?
