We were here with our little 5 month old baby and they immediately welcomed us with kindness and helpfulness, they also immediately offered us a quiet table with space for the stroller. What about food, I-I-know! Everything was really delicious and the wild pig was an excellent discovery! The specials board was really interesting, I would have tasted everything! The wine that was recommended to us was also excellent without going into expensive wines!

Located in a forest, surrounded by nature, a few km from Siena. Large parking lot (dirt). Really tasty food - we tried their platter and different types of meat. Excellent service, with very friendly and always smiling staff.

We are in our honeymoon here, and looked for many restaurants nearby, but all fully booked. only this restaurant kindly left 2 seats for us. I didn't expect it to be the best meal we had in Italy. Especially the dessert, the homemade tiramisu was so delicious, which added infinite joy to our honeymoon. The boss lady was very cute, and she seemed to be a very happy person. Although she didn't speak English, we used Google Translate to communicate happily.

Let me start by saying that I read two opinions from my compatriots, very negative, suggesting bad service that discriminates against foreigners. They raised our doubts about the validity of booking a table.
However, after dinner at Cacio e Pepe, I can and must deny it! The owners are very nice, friendly and devote no less attention and time to guests from abroad than to their compatriots!
The food is very tasty, plentiful. We didn't order fiorentina, and during dinner we noticed that many guests at neighboring tables were enjoying this dish - we'll have to try it next time.
The wine list may not be amazing, but the hostess recommended several collages to choose from. It was worth following her voice.

A distanza di 12 anni dalla mia prima recensione credo sia arrivato il momento di fare un piccolo aggiornamento. Frequento costantemente l'osteria cacio e pepe e in 12 anni l'amore che Ilaria e le altre ragazze mettono in cucina non è cambiato di una virgola. Cenare all'osteria è sempre un piacere, con il tempo il menu si è ampliato e la qualità si è alzata ulteriormente. E' e rimarrà sempre il mio ristorante preferito!

Excellent italian food, for both appetizers and mains. Looks like a family owned business and seemed frequented by locals as well. Would come back if visiting the area again.
