Osteria with a small shed along the road, we went to eat the Florentine steak but it was nothing exceptional. Let's be clear, the meat was good, but given that the minimum cut is around 2kg, if I spend 98 euros on a steak I expect it to be stellar, in reality it was normal, in Barberino di Mugello I ate better.

The crostini and cold cuts were spectacular, even the Florentine steak. The only flaw, for me, was the lampredotto (less on salt and not made as a sandwich, my mistake in not having asked), but that's a matter of taste

We were looking for traditional Tuscan food and they directed us to them. Platter of delicious cured meats, excellent tagliatelle with wild boar sauce. Good dessert. The portions are generous, you will get what you pay for, the service was prompt, attentive and friendly. They gave us all the clarifications on the menu and also recommended it. Excellent ingredients, fresh and the palate notices it.

I ate well, from the starter to the first and second courses. You can see that there is quality. Furthermore, the innkeeper, nothing to say, knows how to do it. He made me feel welcome and at home even though I arrived on my bike all sweaty and quite unpresentable.
The only trivial note: the tagliatelle were a little sparse on the plate. To be honest, however, I must say that the cut was, on the contrary, very abundant, as well as very good.

Posto piccolo, informale ma carino: noi abbiamo mangiato nella veranda esterna ed è stato piacevole. Servizio attento e efficiente. Cibo molto buono: sia gli antipasti (salumi, formaggio, crostini vari con ottimi fegatini), che i primi (menzione speciale per le pappardelle al ragù di coniglio, a mio avviso davvero eccezionali), che i secondi (il mio ossobuco era davvero notevole). Non ho assaggiato i dolci ma mi hanno detto che, oltre belli a vedere, erano anche molto buoni. Vino della casa (IGT Toscana) molto buono. Posto consigliato!

Una cucina toscana casereccia e verace, con crostini, pici all'aglione e secondi particolari, speziati e profumatissimi. Il tutto, servito in modo rapido da uno staff accogliente e gentile e un proprietario amichevole e simpatico. Insomma, tappa fissa quando sono in zona!
