260105 Dinner with family, good food, the place is tiny in winter, I must return in better weather. Excellent food, really expensive.

Quiet, charming space with exceptional local dishes at competitive prices for Venice. Great service and wine recommendations and thorough explanations of each dish.

Very good, even if the portions are quite small! The large mixed seafood appetizer was delicious, and the tuna steak was really well-made. It's a shame there were only three slices, accompanied by very few grilled vegetables.
Very friendly staff; definitely worth trying again on a nice, warm, sunny day, especially in the lovely outdoor square!

It's a lovely osteria where I ate well, with very friendly service and a simple yet elegant atmosphere. When I paid the bill, they gave me a postcard detailing the history of the osteria, which was once Tiziano Vecelio's warehouse. This added charm to my dinner and made me think of this place.
I'll be back!

A small but very charming restaurant, a bit out of the way. Simple menu with high-quality ingredients. I really enjoyed the creamed cod. The little square is lovely for outdoor dining; we ate inside; it's small but has a very family-friendly atmosphere.

Small, charming, and pleasant! Far from the hustle and bustle, they cook with love and serve good wine. Next time I'm in V., I know where I'm going...

Don't hesitate for a second to have lunch at this osteria, located on a very quiet little square. The welcome and service are warm, the menu is small but hints at the expertise that is evident in the food. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the ingredients were of high quality.

We got the address of this restaurant from the hotel where we're staying during our trip to Venice.
We chose it from a list of places because it seemed quiet and authentic, exactly what we wanted for our last evening in Venice.
There's very little seating inside, so I recommend making a reservation if it's cold outside. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are varied, and above all, the food is homemade and affordable.
I'm not usually a big fan of gnocchi, which I find too heavy to digest (well, to each their own, right?), but this time I opted for these pasta dishes with zucchini and shrimp: they were simply the best gnocchi of my life!
That said, I should take that description with a grain of salt because, as I mentioned, I don't eat gnocchi very often.
The gnocchi were melt-in-your-mouth, light (!), and perfectly infused with the shrimp flavor, while the zucchini, cut into thin strips (but not tagliatelle-like), struck the perfect balance between tender and crisp. Let's call it "al dente," as they say here. Finally, the shrimp added a touch of bitterness and protein to the dish.
In fact, it was so delicious that we even ordered dessert out of curiosity, even though it wasn't our initial plan.
After dessert, my partner even received a small bookmark as a gift. And the prices are quite reasonable, with dishes between €17 and €18 (which is also what encouraged us to order dessert, by the way).
A nice touch: the drinking glasses are made of Murano glass, which is particularly stylish and adds a touch of elegance to the meal.
In short, it's a little place far from tourist scams and I would recommend it without hesitation to people who ask me for good tips on Venice.

I booked, I have to say that I had a very good experience, partly because the waitress was from my area so we immediately got along well, ordered a good bottle of wine, a starter for 2 (very good) then a second course, prices ok then I will gladly go back given the atmosphere!
