Osteria Al Portonat In San daniele del friuli

A lovely little restaurant at the entrance to the center of San Daniele, small but very welcoming. The staff is very hospitable, professional, and friendly... as soon as you enter, you feel welcome and not like a burden like at other restaurants. Pampered from the start, with recommendations on the menu. Fantastic ham, phenomenally excellent, accompanied by delicious cheeses, mozzarella bites, and pickles, the latter very tasty and of truly exquisite quality. The tagliolini with prosciutto was very good. The price was really reasonable for the quality received. Of course, a must-visit. Congratulations.

I went for lunch with family and friends. The place is really cute; you immediately feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere, kindness, and professionalism. When I called to make a reservation, I asked if they catered to gluten-free guests...what can I say? I was truly surprised; I felt like a customer like everyone else...no difference. Like the rest of the group, I enjoyed an appetizer plate with excellent prosciutto, accompanied by a packet of artisanal (gluten-free) breadsticks and tagliolini alla portinat (I had the same size, too 😃). The prosciutto was truly exquisite, as were the tagliolini, a treat for the palate. I also had a WONDERFUL gluten-free sandwich. Warm, crispy, and with the smell of bread! Congratulations, you're the most inclusive place...in every sense of the word 🤩 If I ever return to Friuli (😃 we're from Puglia), I'll definitely visit you again 😊 Highly recommended!

A San Daniele in transito per una breve vacanza ci imbattiamo in questo ristorante ancora aperto nonostante l’ora! La cameriera molto gentile ci ha fatto accomodare e ci ha seguiti x tutto il pranzo! Un tagliere di affettati e sott’oli di tutto rispetto e un primo piatto tipico condito con delle erbe selvatiche che si raccolgono in questo periodo molto molto buono! Ecco forse i dolci pur sempre tipici non sono il massimo! Prezzo per qualità e servizio adeguato! E il distillato offertoci, prodotto da una realtà locale, davvero super!
