Simple and delicious food. Pasta Vongole was amazing with very few ingredients. Everything seemed very fresh.

We returned after 4 years.
The first time, in 2021, we were delighted with both the atmosphere and the service. A lady looked after us with impeccable attention and kindness. We hoped to see her again yesterday, but upon our arrival, we immediately noticed that the service had changed significantly: disappointing and unprofessional.
It's a shame because the place needs more attention and a completely different approach from what we experienced last night...
The food was very good, we were happy!

Absolutely loved this place! The seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful—every dish felt like a treat. The service was warm and attentive, and the staff went out of their way to help us despite the language barrier, which we truly appreciated. Even the house wine was surprisingly good and paired nicely with the meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

When they say, "The best things come in small packages," this is exactly what you feel at the end of every culinary experience at "ai Maestri." You can enjoy excellent, fresh fish dishes—always original and delicious, in my opinion—of superior quality in a small, historic restaurant in the heart of Trieste. Furthermore, not to be overlooked is the friendliness and professionalism of the owners, who embrace you with special attention and pamper you so you can truly feel at home, and this was greatly appreciated. What more can I say? I recommend it not only for the food but also for everything it represents.

un locale particolarmente gradevole…la proprietaria ci ha accolti con cortesia ed eleganza uniche come in pochissime altre occasioni ho ricevuto…purtroppo il brutto tempo non ci ha permesso di cenare all’aperto ma stando all’interno abbiamo comunque potuto trascorrere una bellissima serata…le portate sono state tutte graditissime e veramente ben fatte…é un locale da consigliare per poter assaporare prelibatezze di pesce e piatti locali di gran qualità….
