A fantastic cosy restaurant, which radiates with local spirit and authenticity, with amazing hosts Claudia and Andrea, and incredible chef Luka. If you want to try something really savoury and unique from fish specialities (appetisers, salads, pasta, main courses and memorable desserts like tiramisu and millefoglie), as if someone hosted you at home, our cordial recommendation would be to go to the Osteria Ai 2 Ladroni in Trieste. We really enjoyed it!

If you want something local, real, incredibly good, completely unique, fantastic service and run by people who love what they do…then choose this place. We wish we had a larger appetite for more dishes because they all were fantastic. The fritto misto was perfectly fried and salted, the gnocchi with fish was tender with a wonderful broth, the paccheri with straciatella was out of this world good! The house wine was delicious…and the dolce?? A raspberry, fried pear, whipped cream and biscotti “tiramisu”??? Worth every single incredible bite. We will be back every time we are in Trieste.

Good quality restaurant at fair prices. The only problem is that if 15 people fit in the restaurant, you can't fit 20. It's cramped and there's not much room. It's a shame.

The place is very charming, an osteria in name only, with a few touches in the decor that make it simple and very pleasant.
We tried the mixed antipasto, tuna with horseradish and mustard, creamed cod millefeuille, spaghetti with seafood, and a crispy and fragrant mixed fried fish.
Everything was excellent, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
The service was cheerful yet professional.
The price was fair for the quality of the dishes. The wines were good.
A pleasant evening.

The creamed cod and cold mixed salad were good; the first courses, however, weren't to my liking. Excellent wines.

Very tasty fish dishes!
The small calamari and the fried scorpionfish are delicious. The service is very friendly, but loses focus a bit towards the end. The prices are reasonable.
