Typical place that smells of history. Excellent food. Excellent wines and impeccable service. After years I saw my dear childhood friend Popo who is part of the staff and who, together with the owners, made it a cheerful and carefree evening. What can I say, absolutely recommended.

Mixed fried space, fabulous peppered with mussels, and excellent spago with clams. But above all, a wonderful family atmosphere, a welcoming and warm place with splendid cuisine.

A typical Ostaria as you would imagine. The ambience is just the right mix of cozy and unusual. On your first visit you will be warmly welcomed like a regular guest. The food is excellent, traditional dishes with that certain something, you can taste the good quality of the ingredients. The open house wine is certainly one of the best we've had in a long time. Reservation strongly recommended!

Very welcoming reception, superb food and cheap wine. We were so grateful for the welcome prosecco~ the mixed seafood pasta was insanely good, with the shrimpy/cioppino like sauce it was just heavenly. The spaghetti vongole is always a fan favorite but is much simpler than the mixed seafood pasta. We got the cod appetizer that was like minced cod with really good toasted bread. Bulk wine at 5 euros for the half liter was drinkable. Cash only.

Ristorante carinissimo e vicinissimo al centro che offre piatti di pesce tipici della zona. Ci siamo trovati benissimo grazie alla bontà dei piatti e ottima anche l’accoglienza e la gentilezza del personale! Consigliatissimo il pesce nel cartoccio ! Don't overlook Osteria ai 2 Ladroni (the "two thieves"). We discovered it on an evening walk and asked our hotel's concierge to phone to book it for the next night. He'd never heard of it, though it was about 15 minutes away. Something about the vibe as we walked by suggested it would be fun, authentic, unpretentious and singular, and we were very happy with our intuitions when we returned for dinner. This place is hilarious as well as delicious. If you are game to play along with the playful hosts and chefs (three siblings), you'll be down for a very good time. We started with a mixed antipasto of four crudi, each totally fresh and tasty. Our pastas were very strong: I had paccheri with anchovies and stracciatella. My photo makes it look humble and not all that flavorful but the taste buds do not lie. We had a great white Friuli and did not have room for secondi. Very good dessert, too. The restaurant's vibe was just delightful. There was a table of eight good friends sharing big platters of shellfish and pasta, and a young couple with a newborn, all taken in by the staff with a warm welcome.
