The Osteria Cinque Colli is a real insider tip in the hills of the Marche region – we'll definitely be back! A trip to charming Montefiore dell'Aso is worth it just for the view – and by the time you dine at the Osteria Cinque Colli, you'll be completely captivated. The small mountain village is only about a 20-minute drive from the coast and offers stunning views stretching from the Adriatic Sea to the interior. The restaurant is located directly behind one of the village's large entrance gates. You can dine both inside and outside: Inside, a beautifully rustic atmosphere awaits you, while outside you can sit under atmospheric lights, surrounded by flowering plants and overlooking the historic walls – simply wonderful. We received a very friendly welcome, and the service was excellent – friendly, attentive, and with very good English skills. Communication was seamless, which we particularly appreciated. The osteria impresses with its authentic, freshly prepared regional cuisine. We particularly recommend the fried pasta balls with truffles and the spezzatino: buttery tender meat, perfectly seasoned, with a subtle hint of raisins that lend the dish a pleasant, light sweetness. The other dishes were also consistently delicious.

We went to the restaurant for lunch today...the food was delicious, and after I complained about my cold gnocchi, they were delicious too. The fried olives ascolane and cremini are highly recommended. The tagliata di manzo was also excellent; compliments to the kitchen! We can only give the service two stars, as our waitress was rather snippy and refused to smile...a shame. In fairness, I must say the restaurant was full and there were only two servers; another would have been good. The ambiance is very nice, though the seating is perhaps a little cramped.

We were here several times two years ago. This year was just as great as expected. The service is friendly, and the food is high-quality and lovingly prepared, which is sometimes rewarded with a €0.50 discount on the price. The ambiance is upscale, and the tables are very inviting. One of the best in the whole province, with fresh products and top quality meats at KM0. Excellent choice of wines too. Highly recommended dishes such as the Bauletto di Faraona, the tagliata and the fried tagliatelle. It's a shame about the careless service and not at the level of the cuisine, otherwise it would be 5 stars absolutely!

A rustic osteria serving typical dishes from the Marche region. Excellent value for money. Very friendly and attentive staff. The pasta and bread are made from locally sourced organic flour. Those who love tartufo will find a variety of dishes there, and the wine list has something for every taste. Highly recommended. We'd be happy to return.
