While walking around Montagnana, on a gloomy day, we asked a passer-by, a local resident, where he recommends having lunch and suggests the Osteria 2 Draghi a few steps from the centre.
What can I tell you... we had a wonderful lunch: black spaghetti (homemade with cuttlefish ink) with bottarga and crunchy broccoli; purple gnocchi (homemade) with porcini mushrooms and chanterelles, Vicenza-style cod with polenta and an encore of crunchy crostini (homemade with cuttlefish ink) with creamed cod. Compliments to the chefs, Luca and sister-in-law in the kitchen and to Mara who welcomed us with professionalism. Well done! We will definitely return.

Beautiful place in the heart of Montagnana, offering excellent local dishes with quality products and various vegan options, excellent service. The basement room of the cellar is wonderful, very welcoming.

Excellent trattoria that wisely enhances the culinary tradition of the area, developing it with creativity. The choice of wines is excellent, well representative of the unique area, located between the Euganean Hills and the Berici Mountains. The olive oil from the nearby Euganean Hills is noteworthy. Precise, punctual, discreet, friendly service. Pleasant venue, tastefully furnished, located under the porticoes of the historic center of the beautiful walled city, with a non-invasive background sound of excellent jazz music.

Questa osteria , a 2 passi dalla piazza principale della bellissima Montagnana, è stata una vera sorpresa. Siamo stati indirizzati da persone del posto e devo dire che ci siamo trovati benissimo. A cominciare dall accoglienza. Personale giovane, preparato e gentilissimo, fanno di tutto per metterti a tuo agio. Le proposte della cucina sono varie e tutte interessanti. Abbiamo assaggiato il famoso prosciutto della zona , squisito, come del resto anche gli altri affettati e formaggi serviti con composte particolari, tutto accompagnato dallo schizzotto, un pane particolare proprio del luogo. Conto più che nella norma. Servizio eccellente. Che dire...Più che consigliato!!!

I found an informal and welcoming environment, young, professional and very friendly waiters. I ate some spunciotti with creamed cod and ham
Montagnana (obviously) and to finish a carrot cake (veg)... really excellent. Honest prices. If we were to return to Montagnana we will return, if only for the spritz... done as it should: well done!!

It is located in the historic center of Montagnana, the interior is particular with exposed beams and ancient and modern that intertwine. It also has outside tables. High quality food from cold cuts to cheeses, from focaccia to homemade jams. Top cheesecake in jar. Super friendly staff, quick service, normal prices. We will definitely be back!

Tavolo 24 .... cibo ottimo praticamente a km0... le zucchine passate di padella sono state poesia.... Dico esplicitamente alla cameriera: ho problemi di salute... ha creato piatti appositamente per me... questo è fare ristorazione.... complimenti

We were here with the whole family in the summer of 2023 and had fantastic food in a great atmosphere in the vaulted cellar! Especially of course the ham from Montagnana :-)

Very nice place in the historic center. Courteous and kind staff. We ate very well. The products are of quality and are served carefully plated. Varied and complete menu. The cellar is well stocked to complete an experience that I would recommend. Prices are adequate.
