We found ourselves by chance, excellent prices, excellent quality, and she, the exquisite owner, even gave me a small glass of the wonderful chicken pâté, what more can I say? I would happily come back!!!!!! Thank you

We ate at this tavern for dinner this evening. Very welcoming and unique environment. Excellent and fast service. Superlative food, excellent wine and very empathetic and friendly staff.
Very close to the Postern car park.
I highly recommend it, when we return to Spoleto, we will know where to go.

Diversi anni fa (prima del covid) trovai questo locale casualmente e fu una fortuna, perchè mi trovai bene, cosi quest'anno trovandomi con amici a spoleto ho deciso di tornarci, scopro che il nome del locale è cambiato ma la gestione è rimasta la stessa e questo è bastato.
La signora che ci ha accolto era molto cortese e il personale gentile e disponibile, sempre buono il vino della casa e il cibo non da meno ha confermato quello che ricordavo forse anche meglio, i prezzi sono in linea con quello che abbiamo consumato.
Da provare, io sicuramente quando tornerò a spoleto verrò quà.

When I'm on holiday, I like to try a different restaurant every evening. I willingly derogated from this rule in Spoleto, choosing C'era una volta l'osteria for two evenings in a row. The welcoming and familiar atmosphere of the owners certainly contributed a lot. Mrs. Rita is an exquisite host! Don't miss the strengozzi with broad beans, bacon and pecorino! In addition to the house platter, the braised meat, and last but not least the legendary "porcona", breaded and oven-baked pork chop with potatoes. Unmissable for the grand finale is the "cresonda", a typical Spoleto dessert. Highly recommended
